I’ve been using this along with a heat gun to strip about ten layers of old paint from around our door frames. I was using a wider scraper but needed something for the inside of the frame where the hinge is and this helped greatly. Narrow enough to get into the space and sharp enough to do the job.Good wee addition to the tool box and seems to be a decent quality.

Made from sturdy materials. Non-slip handle. Metal butt, complete with hole for hanging on the tool board. This model is 1.5" in width. It's quite sharp, enough for taking off paper but not razor sharp. Which is all is needed for stripping paper. In my experience this scraper isn't an ideal filling knife as there isn't enough flex in the metal scraper, but is great for many other jobs. I broke my 1st one by my misusing it so decided to buy the 2nd one, because it had been a really good scraper.

Nicely made tool

Good handsle with a stiff shank and reasonable fine blade.Well made, should last years with a little TLC. Good for cleaning up rough work and blistered painted surfaces, old putty. Good to have a strong but narrow blade that can take the knocks.

I was having a tough time removing woodchip paper as It had two layers, both woodchip and several layers of paint. After a lot of blood, sweat and tears with my long handled blade scraper I decided to buy this as by this time I was looking for anything to make the job easier. This is an amazing tool and really gets the job done.

Really strong little scraper which tend to use for applying filler. My last one broke but was nothing as strong as this one which should last. Has a good feel when in the hand.

It has a good weight and feel. The blade is also well filed allowing for easy removal of stubborn material from surface.
