Quite a good SSD, and fast.

Its fast and small. It's doing its job perfectly

It works well. But, I didn’t receive the USB-A connector as mentioned in the pictures which is exactly what I was expecting.UPDATE:It doesn’t store the files I’m exporting. It’s there for few mins and after it’s corrupted and shows error. I have contacted crucial for support and it’s no way near getting support I’m either gonna lose what I bought and I can’t get return or refund. I don’t think you should buy from Amazon.

Aesthetics: Good. Sleek, proper weight for an external drive.Connectivity: Very nice of Crucial to ship it with USB-C to C cable, and pack an adapter of USB-C to USB A.Disk speed tests are attached for your reference, benchmark tests with 5 GB file. You may check carefully the relevant formats useful for you and the speed test results for it. Text, photos, etc. are all getting accessed at a good speed than those with lower price. Overall, a good product and keeping it happily.

Great device, especially for casual gamers. Great thing is the its performance is even better when connected with your mobile phone with proper OTG device, so great for casual phone photographers as well.

I like its compact size easy to carry it as an accessory.I use as the main storage device for my laptop which of SSD architecture and I don't want to clutter the drive with data.I have no data folder in the laptop. All data is on the external drive.

Bought SSD(expensive variant) instead of HDD (cheap) thinking that it's read and write speeds will be as mentioned in the product, but in reality it is not.After connecting it to a good laptop via thunderbolt usb-c port came to know that this SSD is nothing more than a pendrive. And that too a very expensive foolish buy.Imagine the plight of a person using this in normal laptop with ordinary usb-c or A port?Very slow in copying documents, pictures, videos, meeting recordings, application set-up files etc; in and out of this SSD.Theoretical speed of 1050MB/S is never achievable even when you to transfer legitimate files via thunderbolt usb-c port.IMPORTANT:There is no backup software provided.A link for trial version of Acronis software is provided with this SSD. That is totally useless. It takes only full backup ALWAYS. And that too the entire computer. You cannot select any particular location or folder for backup.Crucial Software provided with this SSD will show some boost option for read/write speed, however no improvement even after enabling them.In my opinion, if you have unneeded spare cash that you want to spend, then this product is a must buy. Else a HDD at half of this price is sufficient.Hail Crucial !!! Long way from reality..

The speed is good, I'm using it for 1 week and haven't experienced any problem other than the heating issue.Pros:-Ligth weightSpeedBuild qualityThe heating problem is common while performing with this speed,so we can't really blame the manufacturer for this.Use any small fans to keep it cool🙂
