JAY-BE Revolution Folding Bed with Memory e-Fibre Mattress, Compact, Single

There's nothing negative to say, it's surprising really comfortable and I'm so fussy with beds and comfort. I put in a lot of time to research foldup beds before purchasing one. Obviously there's ones in the range which are better but they also have a higher price tag. It was delivered quickly and it was really easy to put together. You only have to click in the 4 wheels and use two screws to attach the headboard. It's longer than I expected which is fantastic and wider too. I know there's measurements given, but it's hard to visualise. I chose this one as there are no wooden slats which can be uncomfortable, slip and break. The sprung base is extremely well made, strong and adds to the comfort. I was split between the memory foam mattress and the spring one. But, from previous experiences with spring mattresses feeling nobbly I felt the memory foam would be better. It's soft but supportive too. It is thicker than I thought too. Where the mattress folds in the centre, left no dip or line when laid out flat. The mattress has a protective soft cover on it with a zip to remove for washing which is excellent. Oh I have thought of one thing that's not really negative, but it would have been an advantage. The headboard folds down flat against the bed for storage. It would be better if it could clip to the top when folded to double as a shelf if you leave it out in a room against a wall. You could then easily fit some material around it to make it look nicer/disguise the bed. 100% happy with this. I've a few people coming to stay over the next few weeks who will be sleeping on this. And will update the review if they have anything adverse to say. Tip: use a double duvet to keep your guest snug and warm. And a normal single sheet and mattress protector fits this, no need to buy items listed 'made to fit the Jay-be bed'. All you are doing is spending extra money for no reason. Bargain purchase! :)

A solid product. Mattress is only a few inches thick but the spring supported base makes it comfortable to lay on. I tested as soon as I received it and almost fell asleep laying on it. I weigh 87kg and it supported me very well. I'll not be embarrassed to ask friends and family to use this on those overnight stays. Very pleased with purchase. Downside: the folded product has the sleeping side on the outside. So, unfold bed, mattress has to be removed, turn product over onto its feet. Put mattress back on. Reverse obviously to return to folded position. Positives. Compact when folded. Comfy to lay on. No awkward fasteners. Speedy to set-up and put away. Very pleased with purchase.

Being 6ft 4 and 17st I was unsure about how good these or any fold out bed would be, but, these are decent I must say. All said, I wouldnt recommend using it if youre my size or similar for much more than a week to 10 days as the mattress does sink a bit but to be fair, still got more than enough sleep each night, it just took its toll on my back after about a week. Having said that, they are incredibly sturdy and even with my height my feet just slightly hung off the end. Overall, very pleased with the beds. My daughter who is 9 slept on the other one we bought and for kids it is absolutely perfect and she was very comfy on it even with her broken leg. Nice and easy to set up and fold away, takes seconds to do so and excellent value for money.

First, it's important to note that this bed is likely intended for guest use, not daily sleeping. However, I've used it every night for nearly a year because I need floor space in my bedroom for VR gaming. The bed feels very well-made and sturdy, comfortably fitting a 6'4" person weighing around 14.5 stone. The mattress is firm but comfortable, which I prefer. Folding the bed can be a bit tricky. You need to remove the mattress, fold the headboard down, flip the bed over, slide the mattress through the bars at the bottom, ensure it's even, then pull the bed into a U-shape and attach the plastic clip. With the included casters, the bed rolls around easily, making it convenient to move.

Bed is brilliant sprung base and mattress very comfy, easy to fold up and down so all that I have mentioned is great, but it's very disappointing when 1 of the four main bolts is missing and one that is there is only srewed in halfway because if you rub finger over bolt it has been rounded and bits of metal sticking out, if you try to tighten it, the bolt is ruined and won't go in or out. When this leaves the manufacturer it's more than obvious that this has happened and think this is acceptable and obviously don't care, which is a shame because the bed came in great condition apart from that and was packed well, I was going to complain but I think I'll never buy from that seller again and wouldn't recommend it, I think my review is very fair and honest, hopefully this will help with quality control but who knows.

Order this as my parents were looking after our dog and due to his age sleeps downstairs. He barks if no company at night. My mum said it was very comfy and slept on it for 6 nights. Easy to put together (headboard and wheels). Easily stored and will get used for the extra overnight guest

This single bed gives very good sleep. No back aches. Easy to fold and keep away. The mattress is of good quality. Not much work is needed in fixing the wooden plate. Worth the payment.

It's ok, but is not something you can easy open at night and close on the morning. You'll need to remove sheets, remove mattress, turn the bed upside down, put the mattress in the other side to then close... then repeat in inverse at night! It's good to set up and leave it on, not for a daily on/off.
