ClaycoHera Series Full-Body Rugged Built-in Screen Protector Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 (2017 Release), Black

I had a similar case to this that was made by I-Blason on my Samsung Galaxy S5 for 3 years and it protected my phone brilliantly well.So... when I got a new phone my first port of call was to I-Blason for the same sort of case.However... for some unknown resason I-Blason don't do a case with built in screen protector for the S8 (they do for the S8+ just not the S8... weird).After scrolling through a million cases on Amazon I decided to order this Clayco case as it looked the nearest to the I-Blason case I had on my S5 for years. I also ordered the equivalent case from I-Blason (minus screen protector) and an additional tempered glass screen protector.When they all came I sat down and tried both cases on my new S8. It was at this point I realised this Clayco case was exactly what I was after, and that I couldn't be bothered fiddling about trying to fit the tempered glass protector so it worked with the I-Blason case... why would I bother with all that faffing about when the exact same case as this Clayco one protected my S5 phone for years.I therefore returned the other case and screen protector.This case has been on my S8 for over a week now and I'm more than happy with it.All the cut outs are perfectly situated so I can access all buttons and ports. The plastic screen protector does not noticeably reduce sensitivity, nor does it reduce picture quality.All in all it's a really good case that I'm happy to recommend, and well worth the money.

If you are looking for best protection for your phone....this is IT!!! I have waited a year to write my review and I can honestly say this case is amazing. I am constantly dropping my phone...I dropped my s7 edge which had a decent silicone cover and the screen just shattered, this was the case I researched and chose for my S8 upgrade.This case is almost indestructible and keeps your phone in mint condition. I have dropped my S8 in this case HUNDREDS of times now and phone is still perfect! The case itself also is in very good condition (only some very hard to see scuffs in the back). If you are looking for a stylish and super protective case then this it the one. It's also very slim for a case of this type (front and back protection) and very easy to get the phone in and out as well!My only criticisms are....being the phone is water proof, there is no real need for the plugs for the power and earphone sockets (I cut these off immediately). The phone could be a little more comfortable to hold and lastly.. could do with more colour options of the cases but that's it.

I've gone through a lot of different protective gear for my S8. It's already been broken twice so this time I was determined to get it right. This case is amazingly sturdy. Yes, it's big. The phone does lose its slick appearance - but it's not ugly (quite the opposite) and it's properly protective. Also, what I didn't expect was just how responsive the screen protector is. The screen hasn't lost any of its touch sensitivity which has been the bane of my life previously. You can tell that a lot of thought has been put into this. The only reason I didn't give it 5* is that it's very difficult to remove. I still haven't managed it. Otherwise, this is highly recommended.EDIT: Now that someone has explained how to remove the case (not intuitive: you need to remove the hard shell at the back first and then the rest), it's gone up to 5*. It's fantastic.EDIT (4 months after purchase): my phone has been through a lot in the last four months and not a scratch, due to the sturdiness of this case. And the case/screen protector are hardly worse for wear either, which says a lot. Still very happy with it!

Headlines:The case fits the galaxy S8 snugly. It feels secure and the cutouts are perfectly positioned on the front and the back. the integrated screen protector was what I really needed and I was glad to see someone has gone to the trouble of including it. it is high quality and doesn't spoil either the visuals of the screen or the touch screen responsiveness.There is some added bulk, of course, but if you buy this, you have already accepted that compromise. I am also impressed that the "edge" is still accessible with this case on. Great job!I have used Otterbox cases for years, so was disappointed when they did one without the integrated screen protector - kinda defeats the point of the Otterbox defender series. I was a bit reluctant to swap brands, but this is really great and great value.Drops one star for the flappy "doors" for the charger and the headphone socket. These are always the source of failure in these and I really wish manufacturers would come up with better solutions.That said I am ordering another, as I anticipate this keeping my phone safe as long as my Otterbox did my last phone (~7 years)

100% protection

I have marked product 5* as it is good. Second one purchased for mechanic boyfriend. Phone gets battered around and metal filings all over it. This case protected it well. The last one was fine, but the screen protector had become so scratched and damaged from wear that a new one was needed. It lasted him about 9 months. Only downside is not being able to buy the screen piece separately.

Overall the cover is good and durable to use. fits very well to the phone and protects it very well. I dropped my phone more than 5 times. still the cover does its job. Only disappointment is with the screen comes with the cover whic spoils does not have toch response as normal, need an hard touch

Muito bom produto, prático. protege bem o aparelho. Produto com encaixe perfeito, permite acesso a todas as funções, tela com toque e nitidez excelentes. Sem dúvidas é a melhor capa para celulares.

I've had mine since June 2021 and granted, the front plastic cover has some scratches now (after maybe 8-9 months of use is when they started showing) and the colour on the back is fading a bit, but this case has saved my @$$ on a number of occasions. The touch case takes a bit of getting used to when it's a new case, but all in all, if you're clumsy and if you're phone isn't already broken, this is a great, durable case for the price it is. I plan to keep buying from Clayco. :)

Zunächst einmal gebe ich selten Bewertungen ab. Zur Hülle mache ich eine Ausnahme:Abgeschreckt durch die 1-Stern-Bewertungen mit dem Tenor 'schlechte Reaktion' des Bildschirms mit Hülle und 'Displayschutz verkratzt' schnell, habe ich einige Tage gebraucht, um mich letztlich doch zum Kauf durchzuringen.Meine eigenen Erfahrungen nun nach ein paar Tagen der Nutzung:1. ReaktionsvermögenIch gebe zu, dass die Auswahl von Bereichen an den Rändern des Displayschutzes ab und an ein Mehrfachdrücken oder mehr Druck erforderlich macht. Das hat man aber nach ein bisschen Nutzung raus. Es kommt auf die Fingerhaltung an und den Druck. Die Hülle ist recht robust und die Ränder erhöht. Da hatte ich mir das Problem von den Beurteilungen ausgehend deutlich massiver und störender vorgestellt.Alles in allem für die dicke des Hüllenschutzes vorderseitig von der doch einfachen Nutzung absolut positiv überrascht.2. KratzerNach 3 Tagen Nutzung und bislang noch keinem Sturz kann ich das schwer bewerten. Die Hülle liegt nicht hundertprozent auf, was aber absolut nicht weiter stört. Das Display ist gut sicht- und ablesbar.3. SonstigesDie Hülle ist massiv und trägt auf. Macht das Handy schon gut schwer, was mich aber nicht stört. Die Größe ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Handhabung bezüglich Größe und Gewicht muss ich noch 'antrainiere'. Allerdings hatte ich vorher ein Samsung s5 neo, was an sich deutlich kleiner war, als das s8. Fazit also, wer ein größeres Handy hat, braucht eine größere Hülle. Es bedarf der Gewöhnung an diese neue, ungewohnte Größe und das Gewicht. Mit etwas Übung in den nächsten Wochen, wird das sicher von der Handhabung her Gewohnheit. Mir gings um einen Rundumschutz, den diese Hülle zu bieten scheint.Den Sturztest hat sie noch nicht bestehen müssen. Das (absichtlich) zu testen, liegt mir aber auch fern.Zum Abschluss sei wohl gesagt, dass ich keine Ansprüche an mein Handy stelle, außer, dass es Ip 67 und gut geschützt ist. Beides liefert diese Hülle augenscheinlich, wenn auch das S8, so wie das s5 auch, an sich schon staub- und spritzwassergeschützt ist.Mein s5 neo hat mich gut 7 Jahre nebst der ersten Hülle 'begleitet'. Täte es noch immer, hat aber jetzt hier und da Aussetzer, deswegen wurde es Zeit für ein neues Handy. Dass diese Hülle gleich lange durchhält, bezweifle ich, aber aktuell finde ich sie trotzdem top.Viel mehr, als ich erwartet habe.Dies mein ganz persönlicher erster Eindruck.
