Great little tiny peppermint ball.

Promising but didn't help possible Crohn's
I've recently had terrible digestive issues that came with excruciating cramps and sudden/frequent trips to the toilet. I've always had some sort of IBS but lately the pain became stronger, came on suddenly and even lingered for hours (even days) after bowel movements (I used to get immediate relief after toilet trips). I bought these capsules because I've had great results with peppermint tea before, but I hated the taste and wanted something more "on the go".The package arrived extremely quickly and in good condition, and I started taking the capsules before meals (3/day). It was great for my breath + every time I burped it felt like I swallowed toothpaste. Slight acid reflux but I swore I wouldn't care if my symptoms went away.They didn't, so I upped the dosage until I took 3 before every meal (9/day) - at my own risk, of course.Nothing.Well, long story short I ended up going to the GP and we found evidence of inflammation in my blood so we suspect it might be IBD (like Crohn's) instead, in which case peppermint capsules never even stood a chance and I actually need way stronger medication. I'm getting a hospital referral soon so we'll see.Now it's a bit hard to rate this product because technically it didn't help with my digestion but it might be down to the strength of whatever disease I have rather than the effectiveness of the capsules. Also had great customer service so I'm going to rate this a 3 :)
