Cantu Tea Tree & Jojoba Hair & Scalp Oil 177 ml

Don’t know why I haven’t used this before, in the short space of time using it I have noticed a big difference in my hair, the softness, and my hair feels and looks so much healthier. The only issue is it’s so thick I can’t squeeze through the nozzle so have to uncap it and stick my finger in. But a small price to pay for a good product. I’ve ordered again because I like product but as mentioned before about the thickness this time it’s thicker I can’t even squeeze it out without the cap on and getting it out with small finger is hard. The bottle is also so hard you can’t squeeze it. Maybe company should think about replacing bottle with a jar to make it life a lot easier. I have so much left in my first purchase I can’t get out as it’s stuck to the bottom of bottle.

Hard to get out but smells beautiful

Love the product. Yes the squeezy bottle is stupid as its not really a runny consitency but i just squeeze it into the lid. Much easier to apply because its creamy and keeps my scalp moisturized. Smells great and doesnt feel sticky nor weird.

Bought this for my itchy scalp which is due to having eczema. The product worked great at resolving my dry scalp and soothing it too and smells lovely. Sadly it loses stars on a) packaging (which I'll get to) and b) in the description it says "Great for use on hair extensions" but this is something I strongly urge you NOT to try! I applied this to my deep wave, curly, human hair extensions and this oil caused them to become super matted and frizzy. I shampood them 3 times and deep conditioned them plus put my usual leave-in conditioning creme on the hair and even after that I still had to cut 4 inches of length off! Honestly, this oil made the hair behave like as if I put strong hold hair spray on it - it became this stiff mass of matted frizz! I'm just glad my weave was 26" so cutting that much off wasn't too much of an issue. Secondly it lost points due to the packaging. It comes in a bottle with a nozzle but this product is Shea Butter. Shea Butter solidifies when it is cold so there's no way you're going to be able to squeeze it out the bottle! If this came in a tub it would be more ideal. In summer this will be more liquid and oil like but heave help you if you keep this in your bathroom in winter. My advise is - don't heat the bottle in hot water or keep it near a radiator because heat degrades molecules so the more times you do this, the ingredients will stop working so instead, poke a clean (no longer used for food ofc) chopstick or pencil into the solidified product. When you pull this out, it will be a thick paste on the stick and you can warm this in your hands or apply direct to your scalp. That way you're only getting out a bit at a time because also, a little of this stuff goes a long way. Will I buy it again? Yes I will but only for use on my scalp.

This isn't really a review of its effectiveness, more a tip to get it dispensed. It's as thick as other reviews say, so to get it out I've stuck a dispensing pump in there which works well. If it gets too thick to even get through the pump, soak in warm water for a bit.

I really like this for my hair. I tend to mix it in with an argan oil and it does a great job of moisturising my hair and making it softer to style. I just can’t find a hair oil that does the same job. Now my problem is the bottle because after a while it’s hard to squeeze out. I understand you need to warm it up but I don’t have time at 6 am rushing for work. Wish they could do a version of this in a tub

I just love Cantu products. They are amazing for my Afro. My scalp feels great n this keeps my hair soft. I have that Mzanzi hard Afro and this product is just perfect for my stubborn hair hey.

As a 4C girlie in need of natural hair care in a European country, I was glad that this is available on Amazon. However, as noted by other reviewers, it is rather thick and not easy to squeeze out. The Dark n Lovely Au Naturale scalp soother with similar bottle design is better. Pity it is not easily available on this side of the world. Good product, just not user friendly

Ya lo he usado anteriormente. Lo vuelvo a comprar porque no me estropea el cabello y me deja efecto mojado y no ensucia las prendas ni almohada. Hidrata y deja buena olor.
