For the Boba Enthusiast
My daughter has recently discovered Bubble Tea and is obsessed with the popping boba. So much, in fact that it's costing a small fortune to keep buying it from the high street. After a bit of online investigation I discovered a way to make them at home at a fraction of the price. I simply bought this set and some various fruit juices and just made my own. The added benefit of being able to turn this into a fun father/daughter activity as well as teaching some basic chemistry makes this purchase a great one.

Works well for spherification
Wanted to use for spherification and these ingredients worked very well. First time I had tried it but no problems at all. I use tap water which in my area is very soft - if you have hard water you will need to soften it or buy distilled water. Very pleased

Awesome stuff! Check out modernist cuisine for recipes and references! normal and reverse spherification, got a caviar dropper from amazon (us) and it was still cheaper than I could find it in the uk.

Good price for plenty of product. Being a newbie in this, it took a few trial and errors before getting correct balls first so this is a nice volume for that.
