WB Socks2 Pairs of Thick Cotton Coolmax walking Socks with Arch Support

I'm a size 6 and the size 4-7 are way too big. They are very wide and a bit long too, which means they will scrunch up in your shoe which is exactly what you don't want when you are hiking as this is the surest way to get blisters. Even with another pair of socks underneath they are still too big. I am washing them and putting them in the tumble dryer in the hope they will shrink!

Since rehoming a rather large German Shepherd dog I have been doing a lot more walking than I ever have and after a few weeks I had very blistered and sore feet. I bought these socks to cushion my feet and give me some support and I have been very pleased with this purchase. Very comfortable and keep my feet nice and dry. Bought for my son for DofE and the fit him perfect... on first feel of them, they are thick and soft!After his trekking day yesterday, my son said..omg these socks are so comfy!!He had walked alot and they still look new. Very happy with these.

This is the second pair I have bought. Now that H J Hall do not make the cushioned non elastic sports socks I used to buy I have been looking for a replacement. These are the best I have found. Comfortable with a nice cushioned sole and soft top. The tops fit just above the ankle area close to the narrowest part of the leg and though not totally non elastic its a gentle fit that causes me no problems at all. I don't know yet how long these will last under heavy daily walking duty but my impression is that they are well made and should stand up to wear for some time.

Supposed to be thick but are quite thin compared to “cool max” socks previously purchased at Millets. Have worn only once but have shrunk considerable whereas my old Millets ones retain their size. You can see the difference v the Millets version. Not impressed. Will have to go out to Millets or Blacks. You can’t always trust buying online!

These are great socks – very comfortable and whilst thick, they did actually seem to keep my feet cool on a very rigorous day’s airsoft’ing. They didn’t slip around like some of these hiking socks seem to, giving me a very good, comfortable (in the sense of feeling and temperature) fit.The only thing that wasn’t perfect was that the socks seemed to ‘moult’ a little, leaving my feet covered in black balls of fluff when the socks were removed.I am sure that they will be fine after a wash or two – just don’t wash them with your whites!

To put them into perspective, I bought these at the same time as identical but lighter Coolmax socks versions from Millets. These are all going but both Millets pairs have worn through at the heels. These are good quality. Used for work.

Blood flow to feet is restricted because they're too tight at the opening. I find this been a problem with many socks I purchase and really I have not got wide legs either. I ordered the size that's supposed to fit me huh!🤔 Useless waste of £8.50.
