Perfect font with incredible insight from Spurgeon’s notes. One of my favorite bibles.

This is a beautiful Bible with large print and fantastic notes both inset in cursive as well as typed notes at the bottom of page. The Duo-tone is classy and feels like high grade leather. Each Chapter has a brief introduction giving meaningful information without being pedantic. The inclusion of Spurgeon's thoughts on the book help bring his notes to greater life as well. The Inclusion of 20 sermons from Spurgeon also reveals the things he preached on nearly 175 years ago are still poignant today and relevant to the church.

spurgeon sermons and notes are good. Large size for old eyes is better. Good addition to Ryrie Study bible.

Very nice book and well made

Whenever someone asks what I want to receive as a gift my first answer is always “A New Study Bible!” Words of the Bible come alive when turning the pages of my study Bible. One of my favorites is the CSB Spurgeon Study Bible. In fact, I like this so much that I am giving it to family and friends as a keepsake gift. One of my favorite features of the Spurgeon Bible are the Spurgeon quotes. I also like the CSB commentary notes and the layout design. The font size is easy for me to read. The Bible is not too heavy so I can carry this to church. The margins are narrow so I am not writing notes or journaling with this Bible.

I most often use this bible to supplement my other CSB study bible. I love having the notes in my study bible to understand the background, in addition to Spurgeon's sermon notes. I don't necessarily agree with everything he says, but his notes allow me to look at some passages in different perspectives and with a deeper understanding. However, I've found that there can be some stretches where it seems like he doesn't have much to say about many chapters, while some chapters are filled to the brim with his notes. If you've studied and enjoyed his work at all, I would recommend buying this bible to follow along with his thoughts.

I have learned to love the CSB, and I also have a huge amount of respect for Spurgeon. I would give it 5 stars but Spurgeon was a calvanist yet the quotes that were chosen never reflect that. Like it or not, it was apart of his theology and it was disappointed that it was left out.

Wonderful Bible, though the term "Study Bible" isn't spot on. It has passages of handwritten notes and occasional expositions but it is not a Bible with commentary. Still, what it does have is excellent and it's a beautiful Bible. I especially liked the green chapter numbers, just something different.

We love this Spurgeon study Bible. It is full of the wisdom and teachings of Spurgeon. Beautiful presentation and the font is a great size for reading. We highly recommend this Bible.

Fantastic bible study! Spurgeon no wonder is called the “prince of preachers “ it has so much conviction and makes you understand more the bible itself and think of things you have never discovered other wise. This bible is beautifully presented and I love the big writing on it as well. Great purchase which I cannot recommend enough:)
