Better than expected for money.
I purchased this after looking at much bigger blowers which looked difficult to carry and manoeuvre and based on the very good reviews. I am not disappointed, In fact it is even better than expected. Easily assembled, just need a pozidrive screwdriver for attaching main barrel. It is smaller and lighter than most units which is a real positive. It is a good robust design and certainly looks good for the job in hand. So far in the 4 weeks I have had it I have used 3 times mainly as a blower. The blower is powerful enough to easily blow large chip bark off the patio block paving back to the flower beds. In fact the first time used got a bit too close and my next door neighbour gained some extra chip bark. Also powerful enough to blow small stones back into the right beds. Leaves are easy to blow even when wet.I had not many leaves to vacuum but worked well and easy to unzip bag and empty to bin. Used it in my garage/workshop to vacuum up sawdust and leaves and did well. It is noisy and you will need an extension lead (6M supplied) but expect they all are.So overall an excellent blower and vacuum for the medium to small garden/patio great value for money.

Excellent value
I have never owned a garden vac before so cannot compare this with any other I have actually used. First of all I started my considerations in my local B & Q Depot which is where I think most will initially go if considering purchasing such an item due to the range of products stocked. I wanted an electric powered vac as I considered the petrol option a bit 'over the top' given that it will be used in earnest for a couple of weeks each year and the size of my garden allows for cable usage. Once in there I was a little shocked. Four options were available, Bosch, Ryobi, Black and Decker and B & Q own brand. Firstly all seemed heavy and cumbersome (when compared to the QGarden) and all bar the own brand were at least £25 more. The own brand was a similar price but it was enormous.Anyway having read previous reviews I took the plunge and ordered one of these, after-all for £35 it was worth the risk. The vac arrived very quickly and first impressions were how small it was but the plastics it is made of seemed of a lesser quality compared to those previously seen. Assembly was reasonably straightforward although a little force was required to line up the screw holes. Once done though it's a sturdy piece of kit.In use the QGarden really came into it's own. It really is simple to use with enough suction to pick up even wet leaves stuck to paving slabs but not so much as to suck up 1/4" pea gravel that surrounds my paving. What would have taken me over an hour to complete was done in ten minutes. The blower function, via a switch on the side (which some of the more expensive machines omit), is equally as good allowing me to blow leaves from borders onto the lawn before sucking up. The mulching is excellent even 1/4" twigs are gobbled up. This mulching makes disposal space much less of an issue. The bag, on paper, has less capacity than other vacs but it still holds a vast amount. Having used this with the bag full I'm glad it holds no more as this is heavy enough so the others would be a real struggle unless you're a candidate for Britain's Strongest. A couple of times the exit chute has become blocked but it is relatively simple to unclip the bag at the entry point without removing it completely via the two outer clips to clear it.The only downside is, as others have noted, that the cable is very short at 6 metres. However as I always use an extension I have actually shortened the cable to about 30cm's. Doing this keeps the plug off any damp ground and makes emptying the bag much simpler as the cable no longer gets tangled during the process. This machine may not have the finished looks (due to those cheaper looking plastics) and quality markings/logos emblazoned on it but that's not what it's about. If you want a garden vac that does exactly what it says on the box at a very reasonable price then look no further. Just remember to shorten the cable as it will make using it much simpler.

Great value and good bit of kit!
I bought this after having some feedback from past customers from a question posted. We have a large Silver Birch tree and we are forever scooping up leaves but always struggling with all the tiny little catkin seeds on the lawn and decking. I bought this specifically for those annoying tiny bits and haven’t been disappointed.Have only used it once so far and I was suitably impressed, especially for how much we paid (£33 on offer - barg!).It’s quite heavy but not overly so, but would recommend using the shoulder strap if you are using for a chunk of time, as aches the arms after awhile otherwise! It is easy to use and did a great job and pulling the flaky seed bits up out of the decking grooves. It didn’t get everything, but if I had persisted a little while longer (the kids put paid to that) I think it would’ve pretty much got most of it - but I was really surprised how much it did suck up given the width of the nozzle at the end. I haven’t yet used the blower mode yet but I don’t anticipate that being any less useful. It was an absolute doddle to put together and took me less than 10 minutes with a screwdriver.Highly recommend if you are wanting a basic blower/vac without wanting to break the bank!

A good product and good value
This is a very good leaf blower and I recommend it. I bought it last autumn and used it three times then and again in late winter. Conditions were damp on each occasion. Blowing is good and efficient but does not really suit my conditions. So more sucking than blowing for me and this is also perfectly effective!.Assembly and operation are easy. The zip on the bag could do with being a heavier duty given that it carries the weight of the mulched leaves but it has coped so far. It would also have been helpful if it was easier to disassemble the tubes. Picking up damp & dirty leaves deposited soil in the channel that transfers the leaves into the bag. That soil built up, dried and clogged during the third usage, drastically reducing the blower's effectiveness. It was easy to clean once I had removed the tube but not easy getting in with a fair chance of doing some damage in the process. And this will almost certainly need repeating at least annually. But these reservations are not major. This is an very effective leaf sucker/blower and good value for money.
