Never worked, cost me thousands in other parts
This part never worked. Lead me to believe I needed a new oil pump in an Awd Chevy express van. Meaning the front differential had to be dropped to remove the oil pan. After the oil pump it was vvt sensor and crank & cam sensor (same circuit) in the process we found a lot of corrosion and a broken wire in the cam sensor harness. Repaired, still nothing. Van continued to shut down due to no oil pressure (although it’s full and the pump is new and primed. Figured I’d test the sensor myself, it’s got 5v no problem there. Maybe it’s the signal reference to the instrument panel. Applied voltage to signal wire. Oil pressure shoots right up. I removed old trash and installed new trash. Great product …. 😵💫
