This is ideal because it's not too tough and allows the right amount of fun so you are not having to be too teachery! My son has a communication disorder as part of his autism and these books really help him to understand the world and prepare him so well for school life beyond learn through play.

Starts off a little too basic and not challenging but gets gradually harder. Would say suitable for a reception child or child working towards objectives in year 1

My daughter has made significant progress with this book . Perfect

Perfect practice for my daughter who has special needs and needs lots of extra support. She loves working from these books; I highly recommend. The exercises are pitched at a perfect level for her needs and address her difficulties on many levels. I wish I had thought of ordering this book much sooner.

The book is very simplified and my child enjoyed the activities, I'll definitely get the next book.
