INTRODUCTION:Tea is a tradition in England: the sovereign drinks at least a cup per day.Since my neighbour likes tasting new flavours, she decided to try this one with an essence of popcorn, which left her astonished when she tried it for the first time in a coffee shop.PROS:My neighbour is right: the taste of this tea is doubtlessly good and, at the same time, it represents an innovation for Italian people like me. Italians, unlike US people, are not accustomed to the flavour of sweet popcorn. Still, I often feel the need to get involved, especially regarding culinary traditions or innovation and this time it has been worth the risk since the tea under review is one of the best flavours we’ve ever tasted.CONS:There are no complaints concerning the taste which is always very personal, but with regard to quantity and price: as matter of fact, it’s very expensive and undue for people who don’t consider tea their culinary passionOUTLINE:Anyway, I remark this tea is one of the best teas I’ve ever tasted, despite the amount spent being huge indeed; but, if you like drinking tea, I suggest you purchase the product reviewed It could be a very pleasant surprise.

Tea tastes decent. Can also be used for a second cup. Would bug again.

I loved the Teapigs “popcorn tea” but wanted to go bag free so decided to try this instead. This is as good quality as the Teapigs product, lovely big bright green tea leaves and has the same strong savoury puffed rice smell. I think its flavour is slightly more bitter but that might be because I’m brewing it too long or using too much. Excellent tea though.

This is my favourite tea and this is one of the most affordable I've found.

The package and advert says there is popcorn but there is no popcorn. Despite me searching for one with it and believing I had found it, this was not the case. Disappointing. Other than that, flavour is nice but I won't be buying again.

Really nice. Delicious taste just like you would expect from genmaicha, earthy rice taste with the green tea fragrance. Tastes good when leaves reused for a second pot.I'd previously had a much more expensive one which was divine but 5 times the price of this one. The only thing this lacked was fragrance when I smelt it in the bag, however once water was added I could smell it immediately. Excellent value, very pleased with the purchase and glad i took a chance rather than re-ordering the really expensive one.
