It really does work.
One of the best products I have bought for my car. I got a stone chip and tiny hairline crack after a 4x4 driver thought he was king of the road in the snow and went flying up the fast lane while throwing up all the rubbish off the road. I could my get an appointment with autogalss for approx 1 week so bought this so it didn't get worse. I must admit I was very sceptical of this product but thought it was worth a go. Well just say that I am more than impressed with the results and you can barely notice the chip now. If you follow the instructions exactly as they say then it will 100% work. I took a little longer to do it than the times in the instructions due to probably using a bit much resin and it is also 0 degrees outside so not took longer to cure which is no fault of the product. I still have plenty left over for further repairs so well worth the money. Would highly recommend it to anyone. After reading some of the reviews I would just like to add a couple of things as I think some people have set their expectations a bit high. My stone chip and crack is barely visible but yes it can be seen. This is not some miracle product that will give you a windscreen looking like new. If you want the chip completely gone from vision then I'm sorry but this will not give you that and only a new windscreen would fix this. I have seen others saying that there is not enough liquid. I can't say how others have been applying it but my chip was fairly large and even using more than the insructions say I was left with plenty to do more. The final complaint is that the adapter and plunger is flimsy. I'm a heavy handed sort of guy and I had no issues with this what so ever. Please remember this is a £10 fix as opposed to a new £500 windscreen so while it's not going to give you a new windscreen it does a dam good job for £10.

Not for Mercedes I don't think
Tried this on my A200 after I got a stone chip and a couple of cracks radiating from it, some of which were getting longer.Unfortunately it didn't seem to take to the windscreen. I am not 100% sure but I think Mercedes windscreens have a film over the top of them. Or maybe just the sport version because of the tinted windows, I am not sure. So worth keeping in mind. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The suction cups really need to be pushed down hard to get them to stick, which was an issue for me, because of where the chip was. I had no choice but to have the suction cups going over the cracks, so I was very reluctant to push them down too hard. This did lead to various suckers popping off the windscreen at various points. Everything went as expected, curing strips worked great to dry the resin in the time stated and was fairly easy to scrape off with the included razor.Loses one star because it didn't work for me (but again that is probably for the reason outlined above, so I am not sure if it can be faulted for that. But possibly a bit more information could be given to check if you potentially have a windscreen that this item might not work with due to the manufacture process.) I have no doubt that if it wasn't for unique makeup of the windscreen then it would have done the trick. Definitely worth a try at £10 to save you having to pay your glass excess of ~£75 if you need your full windscreen replaced, which I now have to do. Not to mention the potential issues that come with getting a fitter that will do a good and proper job. They will never be as good as what the robots have done in the factory unfortunately.Hope this helps!

Just follow the instructions and it works well
The instructions are well written. If you follow them bit by bit, the process works well.Basically... you stick the contraption onto the screen; drip in some glue; add pressure by screwing; wait for the glue to go into the crack (you can see this from inside the car).It doesn't always work completely the first time, so you add a bit more glue and pressure. Finally you cure it in the sun for a few mins. That all worked fine. The tricky bit I found was trying to get a nice surface on the glue. It explains how to do this and what to do if it doesn't work the first time. It worked fine in the end.One thing to bear in mind in the UK is that insurance companies might not recognise home repairs of window chips. I only found this out recently. Hey ho.

It works
Be warned there is a long instruction sheet to read! Basically you position the suction cups over the chip. Screw in the plastic tub part squirt in the magic fluid. Compress this with another plastic tube. Wait 5. Then remove the whole lot and bin it. Leave to dry in the sun with a plastic sheet over. The product is good and did fill a chip on my windscreen quite well.It loses stars for being very wasteful as it all goes in the bin at the end of the process and for it being really fiddly to do.You also have to make sure you do it kn a sunny day.

What a waste of money
What a waste of money. For too much to do, not easy, the application was difficult and I ended up throwing it away after i tried unsuccessfully to apply it to my windscreen. I have a very small chip which someone said I could deal with myself by buying this, what a waste of money.

Effective product
Its a very good product and much easierm than a repairer. Produces a perfect result. Kit will do quite a few repairs. Recommended

Didn't work as well as expected
I followed the instructions on this to try and get rid of a couple of stone chips that were on my windscreen. One chip was just in the surface layer of the glass, and this product made no difference to that chip. The other chip which was a bit deeper than just the top layer of the glass, the repair kit made that chip look a little bit better, but overall I think that I would have been better to take the car to be repaired at a well known chip repair company, rather than use this kit.
