Surprisingly effective
Our above ground Intex pool suffered damage over the winter and I didn’t realise until it was half full. The pool had a 10cm slash which had not cut through the liner but was bad enough to allow water to leak out at quite a rate. We let out enough water so that it was well below the damage, and once it was dry I applied a patch inside and out. We left it to dry before continuing to fill and it has preformed very well, and it is now been in place for a couple of months and I am very happy with the repair. The pool also developed a single pin prick hole whilst it was filled with water and I managed to apply a patch to the outside. The water pouring out and it was tricky to apply the patch as there was a lot of water and it was impossible get it really dry, but we did manage to get it to stick and a couple of months on it is still holding well. I will replace this once the pool is empty but it has been a good repair for the season.

Didn't stay stuck - BestWay Helsinki spa fix
My cat managed to put two holes into the rim of the liner for my Helsenki spa. I tried various things, including these to resolve this - and these weren't the answer. The patches are very convenient - either direct or cut to shape - peel and stick, leave for a period to cure and should be good - the issue I found was on my spa, the top is a wood finish - it looks lovely, but means the patch cannot form a good bond - and the air leaked out.On a smooth surface, I suspect these would be better - but still relying on the bond between the vinyl and the patch - there isn't a chemical reaction here, just the glue.Maybe good for minor repairs but don't think it's robust enough for anything serious or textured.

Easy to use... but alas ineffective
Bought to repair a small hole on an Intex inflatable paddling pool. The patch went on with ease (opted to use a whole patch for belt-and-braces, just rounded the corners to help prevent getting snagged) and initially appeared to stick well and subsequently maintain inflation. However, it failed a couple of usages later with the patch just easily peeling away. Not sure why the adhesive seemingly failed, particularly given that both the pool and the patches were from Intex and so I wouldn't expect a material incompatibility. Worth a shot for a couple of quid but am now looking for a more permanent repair - might try a separate adhesive+patch combination.

EXCELLENT
Bought because I had 1 hole in the inflatable it of my swimming pool. Once I repaired that hole, I disscovered that there were several more, including 3 in the main body of the pool, I did place a patch inside the pool and outside of the pool because it was well below water level and to be honest I had filled the pool twice by this point only to find another hole. They worked brilliantly and I will be buying them again next summer when I am sure I will find more holes in the pool, think its the way i pack it

Not as described 🤬
These patches did not work very well at all. The hole in my tub was a 5mm slit and was clear of any seams. It was cleaned up with an alcohol wipe. The patch was placed over the hole and left for over an hour before re-inflating the tub. Within three hours it had gone down again. I removed the patch and tried again this time not using the alcohol wipe but a solution of soapy water and dried it thoroughly. Placed a new patch over the hole and waited another hour before re-inflation. This time the tub stayed up for a day , but still went down. 🤬
