Was what I was expecting.
My 5yr old loves this. The holes between 'scales' are slightly larger than I personally would have liked, she sometimes gets her foot caught in them when initially putting the blanket on, but you just have to be careful. Great for cold mornings before school.

Rather bigger than expected
It is a lovely product, appears to be hand-crochet so looks like you could have bought it from a local craft market rather than Amazon, (which I’m saying as a good thing), and it was delivered quickly.The reason I’m not giving it five stars is because it is described as being for small children - and indeed there is a picture of a small child modelling it - however it is huge and could easily fit an adult. Nonetheless I have given it to the three-year-old I bought It for (I didn’t have time to return it before Christmas) with the thought that it will last her a long time! Also, the product description and photo showed it with a re-usable storage bag, but this did not come.It did not smell like other reviewers have mentioned.

Smelly!
Bought this as a gift for my daughters friends 10th birthday it is very big would fit an average adult it came in a nice bag but the tail itself was in a vacuum sealed bag and when i opened it it stank disgusting like old peoples talc literally smelt like my partners grandma not nice atall

Would not reccomend for older girls
The bottom is open so not as warm as i expected, also the split in the back is much lower than expexted so although it covers the front of my 10 year old, not the back. It would be fine for a younger child though

Very happy with it
My 9 year olds loves this and carries it around the house. It’s quite thin material, ideal for summer evenings

My little girl loves it
Birthday present for my daughters 5th birthday and she loves it. Well made and feels nice and soft. No smell like other reviews. Only thing why I didn’t give 5 star was because it didn’t come with the bag as advertised. Which would have been handy as it seems like it will be travelling with us at times.

Wouldn't recommend this at all
I thought it would be thick and warm and it's not good for money. Can't even keep warm in it. So my niece uses it as a scarf
