Behringer B207MP3 - A very handy piece of kit.
The Behringer B207MP3 is very easy to carry with one hand and easy to use as a portable PA for small to medium size rooms. It works well with the Rode condenser microphones and Tascam DR-40 used as a player. Its loud enough for the hard of hearing in our typically senior audience without the excessive bass boom that small boxes intended for use as guitar practice amps often have. It stays cool and it doesn't hum.I would prefer a version with the controls and sockets on the back to avoid the need to come between the audience and the speaker to make adjustments, but the B207MP3 was intended as feedback to the performer not PA, so the problem isn't Behringer's fault. The volume and tone controls have a wide working range but the tone controls affect all channels - no individual EQ - but each channel, including MP3, has its own gain control. Also you might have a problem if you mix microphones needing 48V phantom power with those that don't, since there is no individual channel switching - 48V power is either on or off for all 3 microphone channels. The MP3 player works well, but the display isn't very helpful and there are very few instructions and I got no response to an email to customer services for help. You can step through songs in a folder on the USB stick and change folders, but I could not find a way of telling which folder I was in, other than by the content of the folder. Perhaps I'm missing something? We use it on a chair or table and have not used it mounted on a microphone stand, so I can't comment on stability. I've also yet to try mounting the microphone holder on top of the unit.At Amazon's price when I bought it I think its good value for money, some others charge significantly more.Would I recommend it? Yes.

Great but...
I use a Bluetooth adapter to connect my iPhone to the unit. It performs well and the sound reproduction is good. it is more than adequate for a small hall or chapel (as it is in our case). However when I use the memory stick USB port there's a hiss. I have tried different memory sticks but still the problem persists. The files are the same as those that I play from my phone via Bluetooth so I am guessing it is either the port or the memory stick. But if anyone out there has any idea of what it could be and if there is a way to solve it I would be interested to hear from you

Good quality build and easy to use
Arrived within 24 hours of ordering. Good quality build and easy to use, although you need to spend a little time to find out what the MP3 controls do.The sound quality is very good for such compact unit. It certainly packs a punch and the limiter makes you feel secure that it won't overload. Sturdy controls and very strong cabinet. I would definitely recommend this and for the money - superb value.I know some people think Behringer is to put it politely, the 'budget' brand, but this monitor is excellent is design and quality. I have run Roland RD800 stage piano and VR-09 synth through it and it's really good as a monitor. You may need to think again if you want loads of bass, but the product is not designed to be a full range PA speaker. However, it has a lot of punch if needed and mid range vocals are crystal clear.Very pleased.

A very versatile personal PA
The Behringer brand has quite a number of useful and well priced products. We use two of these small PA speakers to amplify both voice and instrument for a small 5-7 piece Uke band. We play in venues from cafes to rooms of around 60-70 seat, and some outdoor gigs. The combination and flexibility of pairing this model of PA with either another of the same, or using them as monitors, or as input units linked to a larger pa, gives us a lot of coverage for relatively little money when used with phantom powered Condenser mics.Recommended

MANUFACTURE DOES NOT HONOUR 3 YEAR WARRANTY
Item was working fine for a while but only used it at home and not frequently. Plugged it in one day and it blew the house electrics then failed to power up afterwards, only 2 years and 7 months old. Followed links given on Amazon for product support; it is a right faff to actually complete this process. Raised a ticket with manufacturers support team. Got a response from them stating it was not their responsibility but Amazons.3 YEAR WARRANTY IS A COMPLETE LIE AND VERY DECEPTIVE - IT DOES NOT EXIST. MANUFACTURER IS THEREFORE DISHONEST.Very disappointed with Behringer, who I though were a reputable company!

I will not recommend
Product started humming after 6 months. I thought it will stop. It did and it came back worst this time. Master volume knob does not respond. When increasing the volume, static noise does accompanied every twitch of the know. Equalisation is really cheesy and poor. Not good for my Piano. Mid and some high frequencies are being cut off.

Could do with bluetooth for a phone
Sounds great for its size but needs bluetooth for a phone but other than that is a decent budget mini pa .
