Q: How big is the lamb trachea? I have a 14lb heavy chewer and I'm trying to figure out if this is a good alternative to bully bones.

Hello! I actually don't recommend our Lamb Trachea for a heavy chewer. A good alternative would either be our 1/2 Size Deer Shank or Deer Hoofer. Both of these options are great for heavy chewers and will provide a longer lasting experience. The Deer Shank bone is full of nutrients and marrow, and wrapped in a beef esophagus. The bone is then naturally dried to retain its goodness in a shelf-stable form. They’re great for oral health and are long lasting. Hope this helps!

Q: How many chews are in a bag?

Because we pack our chews by weight, the amount in the bag can differ, depending on the size of each. With that said, on average each bag will contain about 5-6 chews.

Q: Are these air dried RAW?

The ingredient for our Beef Weasand comes to us in a raw form. Then, it is carefully prepared by slow and gentle air-drying in order for it to be shelf-stable with all possible pathogens removed.

My dog is 12 pound and Lamb Tripe is great. Watch him at first to make sure treat size is OK for him.
