Great quality product by market leader that fit perfectly and worked immediately. Fixed my flickering problem and so well worth the price I paid.

No problems job done

I bought a new fluescent light which turned out not to be the problem. I then bought this product and the old light has worked just fine and it was significantly cheaper than the new light! My advise is replace starter before buying a light as it is cheaper to start here and it never hurts to have a spare if it's not needed.

So I received the Air Purifier Bosch 4000 yesterday and left a very favorable initial review, as promised here is the second night update. Firstly I maintain the notion that this thing works well, it cleared my room of any mustiness within a few hours and once you press the Auto button it just ticks along in the background all day. This morning however I was a bit disappointed because the unit had been noisy last night however upon further inspection I took the peel-away plastic film off of the front control panel and tonight I have accessed the sleep button, and it is now silent. A great piece of kit from a good maker and for my money at least I am pleased that I have it. Just one thing, however, I cannot sleep with all the windows totally shut in any room so I open the bedroom window a tiny bit for fresh air. Hopefully, Bosch will not send the men in black round.

It felt a bit loose when I removed it from the wrapping, probably cheaply made, I was afraid it might be broken but it sure performs well, in fact, it does the job faster than the Starter I replaced it with which looked more expensive to make but it took much longer even before it started blowing out.The old one normally took about 30 second's when it was new but of late, it was getting so bad it was taking between 5 to 10 minutes to light my kitchen strip light which was ridiculous, I had to turn the switch on at least 5 minutes before I even needed it just to make sure I had some proper light ready in the kitchen. A small delay is to be expected with these type of lights but this was way beyond a small delay with the old Starter. It's now a matter of seconds with the new one, which is how it should be. Very happy with this.

The listings main headline photo's show a single item, two of the items and a retail box of 10 of the items and you can buy boxes of 10 of these from elsewhere for not much more than this listing so it wasn't immediately obviously how many would ship - I can confirm I received a single item. But let's be honest, if you're ordering one of these online like me it's all about the convenience and getting something delivered and having change from £3 is a total bargain for me. This start was my bathroom light, I've generally replaced it at around 5 years or so when the tube fails, so I don't really want a pack of these sat in a drawer for 20 years! It was a really straight forward push and twist, click in and out replacement. I've always been told that you should replace these whenever you replace the tubes as otherwise you can shorten the life of the new tubes causing premature blackening, it's in the Osram guidelines, so I'm inclined to believe it's a good idea.
