Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Lives up to it's title - This truly is the encyclopedia of body building and sets the bar far above all other body building literature i have owned, this book has quality, concise and easy to understand information on every aspect of body building you can imagine. All of the whats, hows, whys and whens are covered in good detail and the range of muscle building exercises it contains is garunteed to show you ways to target muscles in ways you wouldn't be able to find on your own. The sections on nutritional science and lifestyle are also incredibly helpful with understanding how to build a diet that maintains day-to-day functionality, attentiveness and alertness while also providing enough calories, hydration and nutrition to build muscle in the healthiest way possible. I genuinely do not think I will need another body building book outside of this one. Review: Litterly a encyclopaedia. Old school style! - The best book in bodybuilding history. I'm 19 and non steriorid user. and To be fair I'm quite experienced in bodybuilding as it is. This book is like the god of bodybuilding. I wouldn't say this is for beginners personally becouse it is stacked with very high level information. I don't follow workout plans, personally I like my body to tell me what I do and don't like. But this is the best Alround bodybuilding guide I've ever read. Not only does it show you the greatest bodybuilders of all time but it also shows you a insight into there training routines aswell. Pluss dietary information to gain serious pounds and also to loose serious pounds and shred. One thing I would like to mention is that this is a old school bodybuilding guid. It's got the old school equipment in it and old school routines. Becouse I train at home I have only the basics. E-Z bar, tricep bar, dumbells, barbells etc. So training old school is what I like to do. I would say if your into the new now a day machines wich I deem useless contraptions. Then this book probably isn't for you. But if you like to train old style and prefer the old look to the new then this book is for you no doubt. This book I would say is intended for a audience of 18+ through to 40. Generally becouse this book doesn't joke about and the training is taken very serious and it's hardcore. But it can also be used as a history book of bodybuilding or if you just generally have a love for bodybuilding and the sport. I have read other books of now a day bodybuilders and there lifes are centred around fixed weights. Cables and other various peices of equipment. even though these methods are very effective. I would never train anything either then old school. Buy this book and you will never look back. If you buy this book and think it's crap or useless then you are probably very inexperienced and this book isn't for you.

Hard to beat - good for women
I read so many muscle boys / strong men saying this was how they started. If it was good enough for Eddie Hall it was good enough for me. I’m 5’5 150kg woman and I’m 6 weeks into his suggested beginner routine. Some of the lifts are a little dated and I strongly advise checking out all of the exercises by searching gifs or how to videos online for modern modifications or how to see the movement so as to prevent injury. I’ve had to look up more modern diet advice but I’m really impressed with build in my lats, shoulders and triceps and also I’m starting to get biceps in a way I never have had before. I want to keep this up for a year. I use an EZ bar for the the bicep curls and switched in some skull crushers. This is the best book out there still and a must for anyone wanting to understand basics of body building and wanting to see a change in their physique. It’s first routine I’ve had that I really enjoy every day of my split and had some “wows” from friends seeing the change. I manage the 3 day beginner split once a week with additional cardio and mobility and I aim for 20-50g protein per meal. Make sure I’ve got enough carbs in tank also pre workouts.

The Bible of Bodybuilding - MUST HAVE!
The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding by Arnold Schwarzenegger was written in 1992. This is not a comedy or an action book; this book falls into its own category, bodybuilding. As most of you know, Arnold was a professinal bodybuilder and was the first well known bodybuilder. Due to this, this is his only book. There are no sequels, rising action, or climax. Just strictly bodybuilding. This is not a novel that you can read in a few weeks. The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding is over 800 pages and goes over many different topics from Arnold himself including; nutrition, bodybuilding workouts/exercises, history of bodybuilding as a whole and lots of half-naked pictures of the legendary Arnold. The whole concept of this book is all about bodybuilding and expanding the different topics involved. The lengh of this book caught my eye, 800 plus pages all on bodybuilding. I have yet to finish the Encyclopedia, but i am okay with that. I cant get enough of Arnold. I really liked the fact that The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding had so many different topics, for example, exercises and movements. As a reader you can focus on one part you are interrested in and learn do much more about it. One thing that makes Arnold stand out is his additude, he is very serious but fun at the same time. "The worst thing I could be, is the same as everybody else. I'd hate that." A famous qoute from Arnold, fits this book perfectly. Even as a reader you feel different from everybody else. Who do you know that reads a 800 page book on bodybuilding? Beacuse of this, i highly recomend The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding to any bodybuilding fan or bodybuilder. The book will not benenfit you if you are not interested in the sport. Overall, the value of this book is awesome... to fellow bodybuilders.
