Great little paddling pool
I ordered the Intex 59416NP Crystal Blue Three Ring Paddling Pool for when my grandson visits. This is a great little pool, it took a little while to inflate using a foot pump and I found the plugs a little fiddly, but otherwise ok. It would inflate faster using an electric pump! I set it up on the grass with a piece of old cushioned lino underneath to protect it from being damaged by stones before filling it with water. The first thing my 4 year old grandson wanted to do when he saw it was get in it to play!! It was the perfect size for him, and well worth the money.I left it inflated for 3 days and it stayed up without any problems. Very pleased.

Cheap does not mean rubbish
I ordered this for my pooch. He hates the hot weather and jumps in the local brook whenever he can. Of course, having bought this and inflated it, he has shown no interest so far, but it's new and in his garden so he is a little wary. That aside, it is great value, especially now when heat related items tend to soar in price. Three compartments to inflate although in used only two so that he can get in and out easier, and it hasn't deflated overnight which I had expected. At worst I will stick my feet in it to cool down in the garden but hopefully he will brave the unknown soon. Pleased with my purchase :)

Great value for money
Purchased as a ball pit.Easy to blow up and deflate.Good quality and size.Lost a star because it doesn’t blow up perfectly round which is a nightmare if you have even a tiny bit of OCD

It took a lot of puff. Valves are faulty. Not recommended.
Size, quality, colour, everything is good. I have one small complaint. The inflation valves on all these things have a cut that opens to allow air in, and closes to prevent it coming out as you take a breath. On this the cut is too far from the end of the moulding, which means it does not work well. The effort to blow it up is huge, and it's difficult to open the cut in the valve. for that reason I cannot recommend an otherwise good product.

Decent but flimsy and hard to inflate
Cheap pool for my little one to play in during the summer. It does its job for the price but I did find it was quite flimsy. When my 1yo tried to crawly out the whole pool fliped. You really need to fill the water up quite high for it to sturdy. I also found it really difficult to pump even with a electric pump. Im not sure if its because of how the nozzle is designed but others i have had are alot easier to pump up.

Great buy
Brilliant paddling pool I bought to keep inside and fill with balls - my baby loves it and it is easy to inflate and deflate. We did also use with water and it was so much fun. It’s actually bigger than it looked in photos. It could fit me in and I’m fully grown adult of 33. Price is so cheap!Thank you

How to keep a black dog cool on a hot day
Our black cocker spaniel loves water and hates hot days, so that got me thinking. In bought this for him and after a bit of dithering, he eventually jumped in and while he doesn't stay in it for long, a quick dip every 20 minutes or so keeps him cool and he can sit with us in the garden without having to seek out cool, distant corners. Inflation by lung power is possible but it takes a while so I use a basic bellows-style foot pump (usually used for inflatable camping beds) and with that it only takes a few minutes to inflate. Fully inflated it's fairly sturdy and takes a fair bit of filling so you'll need to use a good few buckets or a hosepipe. However, once filled beyond half way it soon feels less sturdy and an adult leaning against it from the inside will cause the sides to collapse and water to slosh out. Then again, adults shouldn't be in it. At a touch over a tenner it's within the reach of most people and I suspect smaller children (up to 8, but more under 5s) will really love this. Cocker spaniels also approve. On days when it's not warm enough to warrant a paddling pool, it also doubles as a passable ball pit, but you'll need to buy them separately.
