Shop-Vac 2PC 8011848 Car Cleaning Kit, 1-1/4 in. Diameter, Flexible Crevice Tool & Soft Auto Brush

A great addition to my shopvac.

I needed the long extension to vacuum between and under the front seats of my van. The extension is fairly flexible. The brush hairs were wrinkled but after using it they straighten out. I plan on using the extension to vacuum the coils under my refrigerator.

So I have the ryobi handheld vacuum and wanted the long bendable attachment to get under my car seats. It seems to work pretty well for that, although I do think better must exist out there. The part that can bend is rather small and it’s just rubber so you can’t like bend it ahead of time and have it stay that way. You need to just force it under the seat and then it will slightly bend. It works well enough though. The brush attachment was useless, felt no suction with it on. I could probably still find a use for the brush though in regards to cleaning, just not as an attachment.

I hesitate to call this a cleaning kit as there is no attachment to clean the carpets and seats.With that limitation noted, I'm pleased overall. The brush fits in places that a standard vacuum brush will not. The crevice tool though, that is nice. Best part of the kit.

I also purchased adapters to be sure I could connect to my 2 1/4 inlet shop vac. I primarily used the brush head in this set to clean the tops of pipes, braces and wiring in our recently acquired 1918 Farmhouse. The full basement is full of small-to-large cast pipes, beams and wiring that in some case may never have been cleaned. Literally decades of accumulated dust and debris. The brush head allowed easier access to the tops of these items, with the crevice tool covering tight corners and cobwebs in the overhead floor joists/beams.

Used this with my Shop Vac to clean my car. The brush worked great on the dash, cleaning all the dust. That was a place I couldn’t get to very well with other attachments, but this worked very well. The flexible attachment works good also, gets into tight places and easy to use. Recommend these two attachments!
