Sram MTB141975 X4 Shifter Trigger Set, 3 x 8,Black

Got delivered to my house,oh so quickly. Had it fitted to my bike in about 15 minutes. Now works a treat. It was a direct replacement for an X4 that was already on. So only replaced the right side, that was previously broken. Would highly recommend this supplier and of course Amazon.

Fitted these to my old Peugeot touring bike. Work really well with the SRAM X4 rear mech and the original triple front mech.

To date still unused. I know this shifter as I use an X4 front. I like how the cable can be ejected and renewed. Hope this helps ...

i never had sram before, i always had shimano. i am so so very glad i made the jump to sram, one click and BANG! instant gear change, no delay like shimano...perfect. the only negative is they don't have brake levers in the same moulding which are seperate and that takes a bit of getting used to after being with shimano...but after a few days you'll see that sram are just so much better. i love them and its sram for me everytime from now on. sram may take a bit more of our money but thats a small price compared to better performance and instant shifts

I'm not quite sure on the validity of a review on this product as there wasnt much other choice in the price range!However, it does seem to be a slighly newer version of the SRAM trigger that came with my bike.It shifts very precise and smoothly and there have been no problems!Shipment form the seller was very quick too.

Work fine and were pretty easy to fit. They came with roughly sixty miles of excess cable, but that's probably good for people with tandem bikes, right?

Arrived faulty, after searching as to why the selector wouldn’t work I found the cable twisted inside. Had to buy another cable to repair.

Este juego de mandos me ha resultado de lo mejor, realizan sus cambios de manera suave y a la primera, tanto el trasero como el delantero, no se requiere de muchos ajustes para dejarlos funcionado al 100. El delantero es compatible con desviadores Shimano mientras que el trasero solo es compatible con Sram, incluye los dos mandos, no son duales.Recomendables sobre todo para bicis de gama de baja-entrada.

I bought this because the clear plastic cover with the gear indicator came off my the one on my bike and I couldn't find it. There is no way to get just that part replaced, but when I found this shifter for just $25 I decided to replace the entire thing. As a bonus, the other shifter came with it. Both included a new cable. It was a breeze to install and adjust, and it shifts perfectly. The hardest part about installing it is removing the rubber handlebar grip. I also had difficulty removing the old shifter cable. I should have clipped the rough end off of it first. When I tried to pull it through the first tube it ruined the tube. After clipping the end off I was able to pull it through the other tubes with ease. Luckily I had a spare tube to replace the one I ruined. (I never throw anything away, and this was from an older application.) It is hard to imagine how SRAM can make such a high quality item for such a low price.
