I now have one happy little dog
This product is great. It comes well packaged and does exactly what it says. My dog loves them and it keeps him happy and content for ages. They do have a slight smell but nothing you wouldn’t expect. I also feel happy that my dogs safe when eating them as it’s all natural and I’m not at all worried about him choking which I am with other sone other products . totally recommend

Of limited interest to my doggo
I’ve never given the dog a pizzle as a treat before, and after reading other reviews I was slightly concerned about the smell. I took the precaution of opening it in the garden and was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t notice any odour at all. The dog is a fussy one, he seems to think he is human and mostly only resorts to dog treats if he can establish that the humans definitely aren’t sharing. He’s also much more interested in things to eat than things he can chew. So this didn’t make much of a splash with him. He didn’t really engage with it unless I held one end for him, then he chewed for awhile at the other end. But once our dinner had appeared he lost interest and, having had a couple of treats in the meantime, wasn’t overly keen to bother with this again. I can imagine that for normal (which is to say less fussy and spoiled!) dogs, this could make a really good toy as it is clearly tough as nails and would withstand hours of chewing. But at £9.99 at time of review (and usually £14.99) it’s not cheap, so best if you know before ordering that your dog enjoys this kind of chew toy.

Smaller than I thought
The media could not be loaded. So my dog loves it was very interested before I got package open, was smaller than I thought and skinny I did expect a tad more for a tenner but he loves it, not sure how long it will last considering in 5 minutes he had the end chewed off and he’s only 5 month old puppy

Long lasting and holds interest
These chews smell a bit but not too badly. They have saved my furniture. I was able to give them to my puppy from about 12 weeks onwards and she spends many happy teething hours gnawing away. My friends older dogs who hadn’t had chews much before also love them.

Great quality pizzle!
Oh, did this pizzle make my boy happy! It's his first pizzle and he loves it to the point where he's had enough, but goes to hide it😁 Yak sticks didn't do for him, but these are amazing! Really long and sturdy, will last a while I'm sure. Very happy doggy mami😊

This Didn't Last Very Long - But Our Dog Loved It
When we got this we had hoped it would last a little longer than our dog's usual treats. However, it was gone in less than 10 minutes, took him about 5-6 minutes to make this pizzle vanish. But, he loved it while it lasted! It must have smelled great too, because he was attracted to the package it arrived in even before I opened it. He showed me he was very curious about what was inside, and plopped next to the package with an impatient look on his face. He got even more frustrated when I opened it, and put it in his treat drawer to save it for later. 😂When I finally gave this to him, he was so happy. He took it from me very enthusiastically, and devoured it in about 5 minutes. So, it isn't exactly long lasting which is why I only gave it 3 stars. That makes it kind of expensive for a single treat.

A Long Pizzle
Having a Lab means that you have a dog that will eat pretty much anything, but even so it is nice to treat them. This 'Braided Pizzle' seem to be formed cow skin that has hardened, and they smell like that. Enough so that these are an outdoor snack and not even the utility room. It suggest that it is low odour and I have smelt much stronger dog snacks, but still not for the front room. They went down as you would expect from my dog, well. It is a tougher snack so won't be eaten but chewed on and pulled apart for a while. You may find small bits around the place, but they were not sharp. The pizzle is a good size and will last even a large dog some time. These are superior jerky like treats for a dog that likes to chew. A premium brand and a real luxury treat for the dog.

£14.99 for one are you joking?!!!
I like that careful consideration has gone into the makings of this and it felt safe to give to our dog. It didn’t have a strong odour until the chewing started. It didn’t really last too long either and our dog isn’t a keen chewer so I reckon it wouldn’t be great for those that are. Definitely keep an eye on your pet whilst they’re chewing this and have a lot of water ready. The rrp is £14.99 which is shocking to me I know when you read how the product is made that it would be more expensive but I could seriously never justify this amount for the hour or two our dog had it. You only get one and unless you try to pull it apart it wouldn’t last for long. Hopefully treats like this become more mainstream and the price lowers because even on deal it’s £9.99 right now and I still could not justify the price. The rating is for the products ingredients and the enrichment it brought my dog even if only for a little while.
