Project...not so sure
Let me begin this review by making one important point: this Collins A5 Project Book contains only 125 individual sheets of writing paper, with each side of the paper being counted as a separate page - hence that headline-grabbing 250 pages total. Now that I have hopefully made that clear, here's a summary of what I think is GOOD and NOT SO GOOD about this particular stationery product:GOOD:+ The writing paper is ruled feint with a margin: there are 23 ruled lines per page, spaced at 8mm intervals - which is perfectly adequate. It is also perforated, for easy removal, although the pages aren't punched for mounting in a ring binder (the margin is wide enough for you to do this yourself, of course)+ The book incorporates three polypropylene dividers - coloured orange, turquoise, and yellow. These each have deep pockets at the front, together with tabs containing replaceable white cardboard identifying/naming tags to the upper right. Each divider can easily be repositioned at any point+ The double spiral binding is made of metal and is wide enough to allow the front cover/pages/dividers to be folded round towards the back cover, through 360 degrees. This helps to keep the overall profile small, when the working space is tightNOT SO GOOD:- The flexible laminated cardboard covers are OK but not as resilient as synthetic/plastic covers would probably be. Nor is there any space provided on the front cover for writing a title or a description of the contents: you have to provide your own adhesive label for that- The FSC sourced 80gsm paper feels slightly insubstantial, and the writing surface isn't all that smooth: fine for biros, but somewhat inadequate for fountain pens and for all other pen types that use slow-drying inks - as your writing can bleed from one side to the other- Having a reasonably wide margin might be handy for making notes and annotations, but it does significantly encroach upon the main writing area - reducing the usable page width to only 126mmIn conclusion:This Collins A5 Project Book is competitively priced and mostly serves its function well, and therefore it deserves my recommendation. However - with hindsight, I've come to the conclusion that the A5 format is slightly on the small side for my own requirements (my fault, of course!) and so believe that the A4 version of this product would most likely have proved a better choice.

Great little organiser
I bought this to keep with me, and use to write down notes and ‘to do’ lists, to help stay organised. The good points of this book are:It’s A5, so perfect for me to carry in my bag and keep with me, without it being too bulky and annoying. The paper is good quality, better than some other notebooks I’ve had that are similarly priced. The pages are perforated, so can be torn out of the book, good for shopping lists. There are 3 dividers, which all have a pocket to store papers. The dividers can be removed or moved to different parts of the notebook, although I haven’t needed to do this. The drawbacks of this book are:The cover isn’t particularly attractive, and is thick card rather than hardback, but is not a major issue and seems durable enough. There is no elastic on the outside to keep the notebook shut, again, only a small issue so doesn’t bother me too much.Overall, this notebook is great quality for the price, and am really pleased with it, I wouldn’t be without mine.

Good Book...a little strange
The book was what I needed, good size and the dividers will come in handy. Only thing that left me confused is that the pages seem to have been inserted upside down during the binding process...(???) of course, I can still use the book and it’s not such a big issue, just...strange.

Sturdy
Very easy to turn the pages and the pages are thick enough so your writing doesn't show through on the the next page.Like the product very muchMonica

Paper not as thick as I would have liked
The pad looks good and is firm to the touch. I paper inside is disappointing however and not a good quality as I am used to. I am an avid note taker and they show through onto the next page which is disappointing.

Quality
Lovely book it’s a shame you only do it in A5 size. Would have been even better in A4.

Ok but poor use of space
Good project book for DIY home builds, but the binder was not practical, often led to difficulty writing to the end of the page and felt clunky
