THIS ONLY REVIEWS THE QUALITY OF SERVICE AND THE BATTERY AS NEW. The battery was given a top-up charge at the 14.0 volts required by this type of battery. Using an ordinary car battery charger is not recommended as it would likely shorten the service life of a gel battery, as "wet" car starter batteries and leisure batteries need to be charged to 14.45 volts.The battery required very little charge, and performed very well on my battery capacity tester. This tells me that this new battery is in excellent shape. I will find out whether the battery is worth the money in 5 or 6 years' time. I've had gel batteries last up to 14 or 15 years. The battery was well packed and arrived quickly.

After going through many lead acid and having them fail miserably I bought one of these and I should have done it much sooner this 100ah is equivalent to 200ah lead acid.

was given one of these with my van so bought 2 more ... wish id bought 3 but i usually have power left in them the morning so i manage ok ..would definitely buy again

Purchased mine for a solar generator project, having just returned from a fishing trip I can now comment,Battery is quite heavy at thirty kg as you would expect from gel battery .. however it worked wellI had a cooler plugged in pretty much all day as temps were 30°c + all weekend ..drawing 4 ampsWith sporadic charges of phones tablets etcPutting in about 6.2amps using 100w solar panel the discharge rate was as stated however my starting voltage was 13.5v dc I finished with about 12.4v due to a progressive over spend on use over 3 days .. this isn't a flaw with the battery however more the system ..i need more going inLooking forward to giving long term review hence 4 stars not 5 ..Delivery was as estimated..

Changed the settings on charger and solar charger to sealed /gel. Keeps topped up at 14.2/3 gives plenty of power and works well with solar panel. Very happy with this battery.

Ordered on the Monday and arrived on the Wednesday. Very heavy battery with m8 terminals. Fitted to my folding camper after changing my existing terminals to ring connections. Just used for the first time while camping off grid and using a Photonic universe 150watt folding solar panel. While the weather was cloud most of the time with rain the battery was fully charged during the day . Did seem to supply power better than my old wet battery and should last a lot longer in the long run. Gel battery's do cope better with deep discharge compared to normal wet cell batteries

From ordering to delivery the service was prompt and efficient.We used the battery during a 15 day camping holiday during August. To supply our power needs we connected a 12v to 240v inverter, which enabled us to charge all our mobile phones/ iPads and other electronic gadgets. The battery stood up well and for the first time we didn't need to top up the battery via mains at the local farm.On our return home I check the remaining capicity and was surprised to see only 25% of the charge had been used.Therefore I have been impressed by the battery on its first run out and would recommend it to others.

We've got two installed in our motorhome, plus our leisure battery these are charged with 3 solar panels - absolutely fantastic so far, no problems, holding charge and provide plenty power. Well worth the little bit extra to get a good cycle life as well. At this time, I would certainly recommend these.
