Best Sketching Graphite Pencils I've ever used.
To Start with -These pencils are absolutely superb and eliminate the need for virtually every other graphite based pencil I have. The back story -I was given a 2B version of this make of pencil at my Art Class. They say this make of pencil is 'top end' quality, and I can see why. I was told they are very good for sketching or basic marking out for paintings. After using it once I never let it go . They are wonderfully light and smooth to use and react to pressure from your hand to vary depth of impression. I have used it on cold presse smooth and 'acrylic' type canvasy surfaced paper regularly and its been brilliant. Therefore I have gone out and bought the set shown above and I am very happy with results so far. There is an extra Black 'Aquarelle' pencil included in the box and I have not tested it out yet. I anticipate it will react as would a watercolour pencil. (I usually use Derwent so I imagine this is KOH-I-NOOR's equivalent?) - Hope this long winded tome helps in your decision making - I'd say without hesitation , GET A SET ASAP AND YOU'LL IMPROVE YOUR DRAWING QUALITY OVERNIGHT.

Love using these as they glide over the paper much ...
Love using these as they glide over the paper much better than wooden graphite pencils. You get a nice selection of grades (2B, HB, 4B, 6B, 8B) for about a quid each and are quite cheap. Can be angled for shading easier than wooden ones where you have to constantly sharpen the tip and the wood can't be angled as easy without it rubbing on the paper.

Great but check your received pencils
I love these pencils. They're great for sketching and move really smoothly across the paper.Although I love these, mine did come as: Aquarell (watercolour), HB, 2B, 4B, 4B, 8B. With a missing 6B replaced by a second 4B, which was a little disappointing.Overall, they are well worth the price but it may be worth checking that the pencils you receive match what you ordered/wanted.

The quality is amazing
These woodless pencils are absolutely devine. The glide across the paper with such ease. Wish I had found these earlier. I don't think I will use any other in the future must have purchase

The pencils are very elegant and quite smoothe to use
The supposed degrees of softness were not really discernible. They all seemed much the same. I dropped one pencil and it broke in half - they seem to be very brittle
