I take a lot of stuff apart... first time took less than 2 minutes(getting the back off can be hard) but a little heat helps, or a lot if you also have to replace the back glass already...once you get the back off and disconnect the 3 connectors and 2 Phillips head screws... just be careful of the rear ribbon cable and consider the battery will stick if humidity got inside the case. I did not use any of the tools that came with... tiny phillips head and 1.5x30mm Y head, metal wedge, pry tool, and razor blade... I only used a torch, a razor blade, and xaoimi screwdriver set. after a few weeks of testing, there is a WORLD of difference this made for my unit... previously holding a charge for 4 to 16 hours. I got a very good battery it appears, turned on @ 50% charged. charges up and lasts all day like it did 6 years ago in xD if only my samsung "Galaxy W 'phone' " lasted as long (the ONLY SAMSUNG tablet that has EVER worked with this watch)... shame they purposely make tablets incompatible with watches after 2015 ... among the many reasons this will be my last samsung watch. Update: using gear dashboard wallpaper, and ALL motion activation, nfc, and touch activation all turned off. Motion tracking for sleep, 6 hour weather updates, notifications and sound all turned on in greyscale mode with the brightness all the way down on 10 second sleep timer... It would last 4 to 16 hours (depending on the charger)on the old battery up until the back broke... Then I would get maybe 4 to 6 hours, now; with the new battery, I get over 4 to 6 days.

When you do this, sit down get a big clean location to do it.. get a GOOD bright light, go look at a video prior to doing it to see if you want to do it.. and if you do it.. understand it has TINY parts.. tiny screws.. tiny wire connections.. go slow.. take your time.. and if you have magnifying glasses have them handy.. you will need them :) with that said.. it works great. when I got it installed the watch was at 70% charge off the bat.. so it really was nice.. to not have to trash the watch or try and find someone to repair them and charge who knows what.

This replacement battery kit has brought new life to my dead Samsung Gear S3 watch. The battery is a perfect drop in replacement. The replacement process is easy, with one caveat. The caveat is the Philips screwdriver that comes in the kit is too tiny to get a decent grip to remove the two screws inside the watch, if it is the first time the battery has been replaced. This is because there is threadlocker on the screws from the factory. Thankfully, I have a Teckman screwdriver kit with the perfect one for getting a firm grip to remove the screws. This caused them to lose 1-star. Other than that, this is a great repair kit! Important note! Take your time and go slow through the replacement process. There is a very short cable inside the watch attached to the main board on the button side that is NOT removable, and could break if you don't take care.

Have had my Samsung watch for years. Love the watch, but the battery life has gone down to less than 30 minutes with minute use. Liked at a new watch but decided to try replacing the battery. Received this kit and found a YouTube video showing how to do the swap ... you really should do that as well. Without that video I 100% would have messed something up. Replaced the battery and charged it for ~ 8 hours. Used it all day today, streaming music, etc, and its still at 75%. Looks like I'll get close to 2 days on a single charge. From 30 minutes to 2 days is impressive for what this costs. 5 stars for sure.

I ordered 3 battery kits and this was the highest quality kit overall. I didn't expect that because it wasn't the most expensive! The battery is the higher capacity version and fits perfect. The tools were high quality and I had no problem getting the screws out with the provided screw drivers. The only thing that was a little tricky for me was separating the back cover from the watch. I ended up using a kitchen knife and that finally broke it loose. I just need something with a sharper edge to fit into the gap between the case back and the watch. Check You Tube for replacement instructions and it's a breeze. I would definitely recommend this battery replacement kit over all the others!!

Screwdriver did not work for all of the screws.

Went from 3 hours with battery saving on to almost two days of battery life. Took about 20 minutes to change the battery as I watched a video. Whe I turned it on after changing the battery it said it was rebooting, then nothing. Put it on the charger for a few hours and I have my favorite watch EVER back.

Compre este kit para reparar mi Samsung Frontier 3, lo unico malo es que el desarmador que venia no era el apropiado asi que tuve que comprarlo por separado para poder abrir la tapa trasera del reloj por eso les doy cuatro estrellas

El quit para instalar la pila no me ayudó al 100% pero lo demás excelente funciona muy bien y la carga le dura bien
