Durable and Fun - Great Product
We purchased the Rack Scorpius 7 ft. table for Christmas last year, and have been happily using it pretty much non-stop since then! It is exactly as described - solid and level, and was money well spent (especially compared to cheaper conversions). Plus, it looks really good: the red felt and blue ping pong table have a nice depth of color to them - it definitely adds some pizazz to our garage! I hadn't thought about this when we bought it, but it turns out the pool table size is perfect for kids. Ours are 11 and 8 and can really master the game and enjoy it more because they sink the balls more consistently than a full size table would allow. The ping pong table is a little more challenging for the kids to land shots, but they have grown into it. I believe Rack sells a full size conversion for ping pong which would be a good upgrade, though the quality of the 7 foot table top would make it painful to just toss! Just a note that upon arrival, there was a slightly damaged corner piece, which Rack promptly replaced. Their customer service department is staffed by knowledgeable and helpful employees who seem like they are based out of a store, as opposed to random customer support based offsite. It's a great purchase!

Arrived with minor damage, but happy with the product overall.
This pool table is good value for money and is great for recreational use. Probably as good as it's going to get for a non-slate pool table. The sticks and balls that came with the table are of decent quality. Chalk was also included, matching the color of the table surface, which is quite thoughtful. The table plays well. There is an ever-so-slight curvature of the surface that causes slow balls to deviate a bit, but nothing too serious. In my case, it arrived slightly damaged. See photos. The way it was packed must have caused the plastic pockets to get squashed. They never straightened out. Doesn't affect the game, just looks bad, and you can scratch your hand retrieving the balls if you aren't careful. There was also cosmetic damage to one of the leg assembly pieces (see photo), you can't really see since its under the table, so not a big deal for me. The table is heavy. You'll need at least two strong people to carry it in. If you can, it'd be easier to unpack and carry smaller pieces (legs, accessories, table tennis etc.) separately. Pick a spot you want the table to stay in and assemble right there. Everything is made of compressed particle board, so you don't want to move it once assembled. The assembly instructions call for the legs to be installed upside down and the table to be turned over once it's done. You definitely don't want to lean on the particle board legs at an angle (instructions are very specific about that too). If you don't have two or more strong individuals to help you flip the table, you can do something like I did (see photos) - suspend the table the right way up, install the legs from underneath it, then gently lower it. It's not any more difficult, but obviously quite risky, so take precautions, make sure whatever you're using to suspend it is very sturdy.

Definitely worth it!
The quality of the entire pool table impressed my husband quite well after I purchased it for his birthday earlier this year. The ease of assembly was also helpful, and my kids have enjoyed playing pool and ping pong with family and friends. The table is strong and seems like it’ll be durable for a long time. For the price, it’s definitely worth the investment!

Great alternative to slate
Table is heavy & sturdy, just right for a basement rec room to entertain teens. They love the pool and the ping pong. I expected the cues and paddles to be junk based on other reviews but they are actually very nice, we will still buy more so more friends can play. There was no damage when it arrived, it came sooner than expected. It's a little tricky to put together, took my very mechanical husband and our son 2.5 hours. 4 of us were able to flip it without a problem. We've had it about 2 weeks and the kids play almost every day, it's a big hit with their friends. It is smaller than a regular table in a bar but a good size for our basement. Highly recommended if you don't want to go all out with a slate pool table.

Disappointed with the Quality.
I was very disappointed with this pool table. For the price, I expected much better quality. The table has a lot of defects, and the felt is poorly finished, with numerous hiccups that affect the ball’s rolling. It feels cheaply made, and I believe there are similar options at a lower price point that might offer the same (or even better) quality. Overall, I would not recommend this product.

Great fun for the whole family!
This table is the perfect size for our space and has been a lot of fun for the family since we set it up about a month ago. We did have one side support come damaged but they sent us a new piece right away without any hassle. Overall, a great table for the price!

Get what you pay for
2 in 1 is nice. Felt is not great quality. Ping pong paddles are cheap. Broke within a few weeks.
