MauvielM'Minis Copper Frypan with Bronze Handle 12cm

Just an additional to my Mauviel collection great addition. Adding to the previous review by RT it is incredible copper pans hears in seconds on gas stoves. Highly recommend! Perfect for one egg can squeeze two small eggs in. Great product.

Perfect for one fried egg! The pan is fully heated by the time I've reached across and got an egg out of the fridge. Will save me a fortune in gas! ;-)

Says it is induction compatible. It doesn’t work on my Gaggenau Surface induction hob.

Expensive decoration - can be used but the beautiful gleaming copper is instantly tarnished and discoloured by exposure to a gas flame and looks awful after frying just one egg (see photo) - the beautiful gleaming copper can be restored (after much searching about how to do so) using a combination of leaving it painted with tomato ketchup for a couple of hours, followed by a rinse and some metal polish) but who wants to do that every time? As I say, nice looking item - and I don't know what it does on an electric hob - but more of an ornament than anything else if you're intending to use it with gas.

be ok for a dolls house

purchased an item from mauviel. the stand bent within two years it cost me £700.they were not help full and want me to pay for repair costs. even though they say they have a good warranty.will never buy a mauviel item again
