Worth it! Great decision!
Not being Lego brand and a few bad reviews on the remote control had me worried, but so glad I got these. Remote works great and my teen son loves these. They are pretty powerful so definitely need to invest in some technic pieces because the torque can make standard Legos come apart. Technic parts hold together a bit better. He has already built a remote control car that can go forward, turn, and extend an arm that the end grapples. And all because he has at least 4 motors and the remote control (plus his preexisting insane building skills and imagination). So, I would HIGHLY recommend these to people like me- wanting the good stuff but not prepared to refinance the house for the Lego brand name. Go for it! So happy I bought these and our remote works great!

Add RC to most LEGO cars
Small, powerfull motors with small rechargeable battery /control allow you to add RC to most LEGO cars!As with other reviewers, I was concerned about trying this off-brand, but the LEGO Motors and battery/controllers are just to large to use aesthetically in many LEGO models. I selected the LEGO TECHNIC Dodge Charge car, which I had already built. The drive shaft for rear tires and the turning shaft to the front tires would be straightforward to connect to motors. The entire area around the back seat was huge and was easily adaptable to create some new supports. I did have to permanently remove the lifter on the undercarriage.Since the set came with three sets of lights, I ran double strands to the front and rear and added supports so they become off and on headlights and taillights.Remote control through the supplied hand controller is flawless. There is supposedly an iOS and Android APP that looks very similar to LEGO SPIKE. But, I didn't want to learn their specific programming rules, I have set 50505 Robot Inventor. Conclusion:Definitely recommend. I am already ordering more sets to R/C to all my other LEGO models.

Very cool!
My son is 7 and he’s been wanting motors to use with his building blocks, these are perfect. We don’t have a set project in mind just enjoying using them to give life to creations. My package was lost in delivery but the company resolved it quickly and we are very happy.

Pretty Good For the Price
The media could not be loaded. So I purchased the “Upgraded 5pcs” color of the product, and it’s pretty good. For around $34, it’s a great bundle to get basically all of the components for a Remote Control vehicle.A few comments:- The Reciever and two motors do not come in a white-and-red color scheme, it comes in a similar theme as a normal Lego motor.- The battery box also is pure grey, with no white sliding cover.- Be careful when sticking length 3 axles or below into the servo motor; it got stuck in there and I had to use Super glue to remove it.Other Details if You Are Going to Buy This ( Upgraded 5pcs )- The bundle comes with all of the pieces above, not exactly matching the color schemes.- You need 6 AAA batteries for the battery box, and 3 AAA batteries for the controller. Total 9 AAA batteries.- It says it will arrive nearly a month later; but it arrives much earlier than listed.- The Servo motor ( The one that’s kinda shaped like an ‘L’ ) rotates only 90° left or right.- The Reciever is basically half the size of the battery box. ( Battery box is 4 x 8 studs on the top, height of 4 bricks. )- Switches on Reciever and Controller indicate which channel it will receive/send signals to. So it must be the same setting in order to work.- The plastic quality isn’t too bad.

Controller did not connect
Took 20 days to arrive just for the controller not to connect to the receiver. Everything worked and the engines are really good, but the controller and receiver did not link. When I asked about this I was told that I got sent a controller with a “new chip” and a receiver with an “old chip” which is why they weren’t linking. When I asked if they could send me a working pair, I was told that many people are reporting this and that they have a backlog of items. Apparently they have a quality control test before shipping, but I’m not sure how all these people are reporting issues if they double check all the parts. Do not buy. Literally spend your money on anything else. Good engines, bad remote controls, bad quality control, bad shipping time, bad product reviews

Great for not being Lego branded.
All of the motors work great and were surprisingly strong with good torque. The server motor had a bit of trouble getting stuck when turning it to the right, but the customer service was great, and they sent a replacement right away. Great value compared to Lego brand motors. Also, good battery life.

Impressed
Very happy with my purchase!! I plan on making the rest of my Lego buys through this company. Motors are strong and sturdy, the lights are bright, and the battery doesn't hardly have any weight to it. My only complaint would be the better life but it is a good compromise for how little and not bulky it is. Very impresed! Worth every penny!

The remote control doesn't work, everything else does
The remote control gadget is a dud, and seems to have bad wiring. I noticed that the AAA batteries heat up when the control gadget is used. However, the motors and IR receiver do work. I had to buy a different Technic IR control motor system with a different design of remote control, and it's compatible. The IR remote control seems to work best for cars and trains, not so much for robot projects.
