Dog steps
These are great for a small dog, I have a Border Terrier and I have six of these steps, three beside the bed, sofa, and sofa in conservatory. In the space of two years my dog has ruptured the cruciate ligament in both hind legs which means she has titanium plates in both of them, and I was advised by the vet to stop her jumping up onto things, hence the dog steps.I have been so pleased with the service I have received and they were delivered within two days of ordering..would highly recommend the retailer. The photo was taken before I received the 6th, plus the top step is detachable as shown .

This is an excellent product, my 15 year old dachshund loves sleeping on the bed and sofa, but he's too old and fragile to get up and down himself. These steps are wonderful for him, he took to using them right away and I feel happier leaving him on the sofa knowing he won't jump off. I was a bit concerned about their longevity, but we have had them for 2 years now and they still look good, the covers are removable and wash easily. The top step zips off so you can use it for lower furniture. Three steps is the perfect height for a normal sofa. Can't recommend them enough, especially for a wee old dug with short legs! Oscar xx

Does the job
This has been very good for my blind pug, I recently washed the outer cover which I found out was glued into the base so to detach I had to rip away from the foam base meaning the fabric no longer sits flush to the step, not the end of the world but worth noting.I paid about £40 but have seen cheaper options similar. The top step can be a tiny bit wobbly as only zipped on but not a major issue for a sighted dog but sometimes makes mine a bit nervous, nothing velcro wouldnt fix.

Great for our athritic / diabetic dog for the sofa entertains the 5 year old too (rolls eyes)
Our dog is a jack russell cross, weight fluctuates between 10 and 12lb depending on how active/ill she is..... she has had bad back legs all her life but will still do silly things like jump down off the sofa.... got to a point she stopped being able to get up so we did a whole lot of research and glad we did..we tried a ramp, she hated it .. but this step, after a week of giving treats after she went up and another when she went down, she realised she didn't need the treats anymore and is more than happy to go up and down..... we do have a high leather recliner sofa but we don't need to use the top step..I should point out that our 2 1/2 stone child who is told time and time again it's the dogs in the house has no issues sitting on it and it still keeps it's shape :)

Highly recommended for cats
If you have older cats who are starting to find it difficult to climb up onto sofa or bed this is ideal for them.Soft for cats to use but very sturdy. Great for older cats and those struggling with arthritis and any other conditions that make climbing up difficult. Helps make it easier for them to access their favourite spots and my oldest cat uses it all the time to get up and climb back down. Took him a few goes to realise it was there to make it easy for him to get onto the sofa and wasn’t an obstacle blocking his route. Even younger cats use it and probably good idea for them to use at earlier age so when they truly need it they know what it’s for. Also not too steep angle for them to climb up, just like normal steps and the top step can be removed to lower height or provide a wider step. Will definitely be getting another one and highly recommend this product for cats and small dogs.

my dog likes these
My Maltese likes these stairs but they are not very high. I am only using the two bottom ones. The third very narrow section is not needed and in my opinion is too narrow except for a really small dog. He had gotten used to another set of steps with plastic on the sides and carpet on the top so he knew how to climb the stairs. He took to these soft foam stairs immediately and it seems he prefers the soft surface more than the plastic hard sided ones though both help him get onto the couch and high bed.

Perfect! Happy Spaniel!
Bought to help my cocker spaniel get up onto the sofa in the later stages of recovery from cruciate ligament surgery. Not keen on the detachable top step as it’s too unstable due to only one zip holding it on but he only needs the two so it’s fine. Took some persuasion but works great and it means he can have his favourite seat back without lifting him up and down all the time.Very soft and his paws don’t slip so he can get up and down with confidence. My boy is 23k so a bit chunky and the steps have no trouble with a dog his size. I would think if you’ve got a larger breed than a spaniel the steps may be a little bit narrow so may be worth bearing in mind. However, great for small and medium pooches to save stress on those joints.A great buy and thoroughly recommend.

Excellent quality for fussy or skittish dogs.
This set of stairs has been the best purchase we've made for our dog. He's a Yorkshire Terrier, 8 years old, and recently injured his knee after flying down the stairs to scare off the postman. Our dog is a fussy one, scared to adjust to anything new and, after purchasing a previous set of stairs that were made out of plastic, I was hesitant to try these. I am pleasantly surprised. The stairs are made out of a type of foam and are similar to that of carpeted stairs, which our dog is familiar with. Within a few tries of trying to coax him up with a treat he was up and down the stairs with no problems at all. Our dog is notoriously fussy and skittish in our house and we have to take the time to get him used to all sorts of new things - (pampered little dog syndrome). If your dog is anything similar to ours then this would be the perfect purchase for you. It is quite pricey but definitely worth not having to put up with sleepless nights hauling him onto the bed every hour (like I said - he is a pampered little dog!).We have wooden floors in our house and we have no trouble with these stairs slipping or moving whilst the dog is on them - this was a problem we encountered with the plastic stairs we previously purchased, even when the rubber stops had been attached.
