Nice folding knife
Really nice knife for harvesting or small jobs in garden. Hadn’t realised from photo that it’s a folding knife. Which is probably just as well as I avoid penknives as I’m always convinced I’ll take my fingers off opening and closing them, but this knife is a delight to use. Nice size, feels comfortable in the hand, and of course being foldable means you can just keep it in the pocket while working in the garden. Fairly sharp straight out of the packet and it’s a good solid blade so it should last for a lot of uses and sharpenings over time. Bit of an impulse buy, but very glad I did.

Sharp and stylish—great value if you catch it on offer
Picked this up while it was on offer and it’s been a great little tool for the garden. The blade is impressively sharp straight out of the box—ideal for pruning, cutting twine, or general light tasks. Folds away neatly and feels well made, with a nice balance and finish that matches the Kew Gardens branding. At the discounted price, it’s excellent value. That said, I wouldn’t rush to pay full price—it’s good, but not premium. If you spot it on sale, it’s a smart buy for any gardener who wants something practical with a touch of style.

Excellent garden knife
I use my knife a lot on my allotment and feel safe with the design. initially sharp but not with a razor edge. I have subsequently used a sharpening stone to hone a sufficiently edge useable finish. Very well made and substantially weighty. It will last for years

I'm an avid gardener and have all kinds of pocket knives. However, I bought this for my wife to use when she helps me in the garden. I was looking for something more fit for her to use when harvesting vegetables or occasional cutting twine or opening feed bags. This fits the bill perfectly and I've been a fan of Spear and Jackson for awhile.
