Great piece of kit. I fixed 3 out of 4 drifting controllers in 30 minutes. Didn't know that one button not working but when I find out spare part was there too ready to replace. Don't know how long will work properly but still cheaper than buy new for 80e

Controllers have been suffering from dift for a while, so thought time to repair. Bought this kit as it came with everything I needed and more. Tools were really helpful and much needed to complete the job. Controllers fixed and no more drifting within the hour.

A really cost effective way to fix your worn out joycons. Beware that this kit cannot fix the right shoulder button if it fails, that’s a fiddly soldering job, but there enough parts to fix most other the other joycon issues

Kit arrived and I set to work & strip down the left joycon to fix the annoying stick drift. I managed to get the first top left Y screw and after that the screwdriver wouldn’t engage with the remaining 3. Seems the steel is too soft as part of the Y has slightly deformed therefore won’t engage with the other 3 screws, and like someone else’s review here I don’t want to put any further downward pressure for fear of stripping the screw heads. Real shame as I had hope this kit would live up to the positive reviews and I’m afraid I’m going to have to return it as I don’t have much faith in the rest of the kit.

Bought it as one of the latches on my joycons had worn away so it could be pushed off without being released. It doesn’t come with instructions but found a quick video, all the parts and tools were there and was very quick and easy to replace the latches with metal ones

product overall is very good i manage to do both pads in a hour ... only thing is now i have drift in my blue side its not visibale when playing but when in a menu it tends to go down all the time

It really fixed my broken joycon and no need to buy a new one.

Really pleased with it. Replaced the left stick as it was drifting. New one works perfectly and the kit has everything you need. Worth watching the disassembly on YouTube while you do it.
