Q: Will a schecter diamond series ultra bass fit in this?

I have a 5-String Ibanez SRX505 and My case appears to be exactly like the Schecter case. Probably made by the same manufacturer. The only problem I see would be the body of the guitar itself. The shapes are different and they would need to fit into the rectangular portion of the case. I would expect that it will fit just fine however, this is really a question for the folks at Schecter. Ask them if they use the same case for each of those bass guitars. It would make sense that they do. But, only they would know.

Q: Will a Schecter Omen 5. 5 string bass fit in this case?

I have a Stargazer 4 but I'm 95% sure it will fit an Omen 5. They are almost the same dimensions and I have a bit of space leftover inside my case. If not you can always return it. Good luck!

Q: Why do the manufacturers of guitar and bass cases never put the inside dimensions in their description? Outside dimensions are meaningless.

I agree. They just like to confuse you I think. I had the same problem with the last bass guitar case I bought. I could not find one that had outside dimensions that were larger than the dimensions I was measuring. I finally decided that it made no sense for case makers to make a case too small and that just about all guitars were very much the same dimensions so, I just ordered the one with the largest dimensions and the guitar fit perfectly.
