Grip Plus 07 Pencil - Metallic Blue

Quite simply the best retractable pencil I’ve ever bought (and I’ve had quite a few in my time). It’s lightweight (not much heavier than a regular pencil) and feels great in the hand while writing due to its rubber grip. It also has a nice long eraser inside. Overall, a great quality product at a bargain price.

Great pencil with strong lead that doesn't break easily. Nice to hold and use

There's not a huge amount to say about a pencil but I'm a huge fan of the colours. Faber-Castell is an excellent brand that I've never had any concerns about quality with and this pencil is no exception. The mechanical pencil aspect works very well - you get about 1mm of the lead from a single click and the click itself is smooth yet obvious. Also, there's a nib at the end that retracts if pushed in. I'm not familiar with the feature but I assume that this is either control or to avoid the lead snapping. This pops back out fully when you click for more lead, regardless of how much it's been pushed in. The rubber on the end is a wonderful addition - this is a 4cm rubber that extends in the same way as a Pritt Stick or lip balm. It's a decent rubber, unlike many pencils that have rubbers on the end that will smudge. The rubber grip is nice to hold for me. My one nit-pick is that it would have been nice to have it rounded, rather than gripped in a triangle as the lead will follow the gradient that you're using. I assume artists accommodate for that though. The clip isn't very firm but it's not likely to break easily, which is good.. 1-2 sheets of paper probably won't grip well but if you slide it onto a clipboard (or something with similar thickness) it should hold well. Lastly, the lead itself is very smooth - you can tell it's a cut above the generic HB pencils that are purchased en masse.

I am a fan of these pencils. They are even better when 2b leads are used.

Comfortable to hold and easy to use - great propelling pencil with rubber - just what I needed. A good price and arrived quickly.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and find narrow pens, ball-pens and pencils to hold. This is just that bit "fatter" and has a triangular grip so easy to control. The trouble with most mechanical pencils is that they erasure they supply is ridiculously small and wears out too quickly. By contrast this has a sensible size erasure which extends by turning the barrel and spares are readily available. This is not the cheapest model on the market but in my opinion worth every penny!

Ho avuto modo di possedere questo stesso articolo per anni, regalatomi da un parente, è l'ho sempre apprezzato molto per la sua comodità e funzionalità, e ho sempre adorato la generosa gomma sul retro e il sistema di estrazione/richiamo della stessa, molto fluido e piacevole. Nel tempo poi ho provato moltissime matite meccaniche, facendone largo uso sul lavoro (sono un tecnico e anche se non come una volta, praticamente quando scrivo a mano uso quasi solo matite meccaniche), anche pezzi di un certo valore realizzati in materiali più nobili, ma recentemente, essendomi ricapitata in mano questa matita, ne ho riscoperto la comodità e funzionalità, oltre alla spensieratezza di uso data dalla fascia di prezzo relativamente accessibile. Cosi ho pensionato le altre matite meccaniche che avevo in giro e ho deciso di usare solo questa. Per fare ciò, per l'appunto, ho acquistato altri due esemplari, uno per il lavoro e uno da tenere sempre nello zaino pronto a ogni necessità in mobilità. Tra l'altro, se ci pensate, ha tutto quello che può servire: comodissima e generosa gomma sul retro, direttamente pronta all'uso, puntale retrattile per scongiurare rotture in mobilità e salvaguardare le tasche, e una dimensione ed impugnatura a mio parere molto comode ed ergonomiche, il tutto in un oggetto accessibile, abbastanza piacevole alla vista e molto leggero, per non stancare inutilmente la mano. Sicuramente la consiglio senza riserve, nonostante il prezzo possa essere più elevato rispetto ad alte concorrente nella stessa fascia, secondo me li merita per le sue peculiarità.

This mechanical pencil has a very good grip to allow you to hold the pen comfortably. It is easy to use and both the eraser and lead feed are well thought out. It is probably one of the best mechanical pencil.

Een heel fijn vulpotlood, zowel om mee te schrijven als tekeningen mee te maken. De schacht is lekker dik, ook geschikt voor wat grotere handen en de grip is precies goed. Mooi groot, uitschuifbaar gum en de stiftdikte van 0,7 mm is voor mij precies goed. Kost wat meer dan die dunne dingetjes van één of twee euro maar is die paar euro meer dan waard. Ik had er al een maar heb er nog een besteld.
