Gochugaru Korean Red Pepper Chilli Ground Powder 100g from The Spiceworks - Hereford Herbs & Spices

I bought this to add to my repertoire. Highly recommended

Purchased for a particular recipe, but it smelled so lovely I used straight away, instead of my generic chilli powder, for BBQ beans. Definitely added quite a rich warmth and flavour with a small amount - now have to work out what amount is too much!.

Cannot fault this at all, since having children my ability to eat spicy food has literally disappeared?, this adds wonderful spicy warm taste to every dish I've used it for, just purchased my third delivery so what else can I say?

Quite expensive by weight but it really makes all the difference for delicious home made kimchi. I prefer to buy the ground spice alone rather than the gochugaru paste you can get in a tub at the supermarket since they tend to contain all sorts of additives. This brand is quite mild so I add a little plain hot chilli as well.

It made a great Kimchi, excellent colour and the flavour does get better when cooked with or fermented with. Little annoying that could only by one pack at a time 🤷🏼‍♂️, but hey ho.

Great for kimchi. It gives a lovely flavour and some warmth but is not overpowering. I have added 2 tablespoons to each kimchi paste recipe and this is ideal.

Bought specifically to make kimchi, but had to use regular Chilli as well, since this is almost similar to parika. Not worth the high pricetag. Regular chilli is much better than this paprika like chilli powder. Not worth the half of the price paid!
