These Chinese lanterns light up when darkness falls, turning an ordinary garden into fairyland. Very good value, they are easy to assemble and seem to be durable, having withstood wind, heavy rain and hot sunshine so far this year.

1 of the lanterns doesn’t work

All working and look just great In my garden.Needed to be charged for a couple of days before they were all working/had a good level of brightness.Still working after heavy rain today.Great value

Have ordered these before and was pleased. Ordered again but two didn't work very disheartening as were decorations for a 70th garden party

Excellent for camping off grid...gives enough light to see clearly in tent, but not great for reading...lasts all night .Also good for general area illumination...ie cook site or path to the loo... outlived a 5 week wild camping trip. Do not leave uncovered in the rain. RecommendUpdate...have left these outside for 2 years in all weathers......2 still going strong.......pretty pleased with them really.

I cant understand the five star reviews for these lanterns all I can assume is that they were an entirely different batch to the ones I received.. I have opened four of the six and out of those four only one is a round shape the other three are completely misshapen and look ridiculous. I haven't bothered to open the other two. complete waste of money !

They don’t last very long maybe 3 hours which is a shame as they’re good value. They would have been better with AA batteries instead of AAA as they’d hold the charge longer for sure .

To start with, they were great. Charged up quickly and looked great. However, every single one stopped working within weeks. Definitely not a bargain.
