Printer ink
I have tried other non Epson ink cartridges but they are inferior. Lots of noddle cleaning and reprinting with them. This gives me crystal clear type for the life of the cartridge.Good value too from Amazon and great delivery if I run out all of a sudden.

Genuine Epson
Pleased to find this cartridge as a single item at the right price, not easy to find in shops.

Amazing quality, bit pricey though
I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of these inks. Professional looking prints everytime on high setting. The only thing I don't like is how expensive they are especially if you print a lot like I do. Compared to my old cartridges the cost is nearly 30-40% more. Always go with the XL cartridges over the other ones as its better value for money though.

Ideal for printing
I always buy the original Epson inks for my printer as these are the only ones that I know will guarantee the same pigment ink finish that the compatibles don't seem to do. The ink itself is ideal for the print finish needed, I just wish the pricing for the originals was a little lower than it is as filling four colours gets expensive, particularly when it's for an older machine.

making the print quality dreadful and meaning that you have to clean the print heads and run the other print maintenance options (eg the fine lines one) before you can print any decent copies ...
It's definitely worth getting the largest possible cartridge size but, even think, the black ink runs out more quickly than you think.Try to print something on a regular basis or do a test print from time to time, otherwise the nozzles seem to get clogged up, making the print quality dreadful and meaning that you have to clean the print heads and run the other print maintenance options (eg the fine lines one) before you can print any decent copies - not great if you're in a hurry.
