Beau Bear 27 month old TT He's been itchy for 13months This was recommended on a Facebook page I've tried shampoos, changing his diet, salves and eventually vet medication Yes, the second medication works, a monthly injection however I'd prefer not to, unless necessary. I can't say if it has stopped him scratching as his first bath was only an hour agoWhat I can say is that it is easy to use, smells great, gets his coat bright white and shiny It's better than some show shampoos that I've paid a fortune forHe's bathed weekly and I intend to wash his feet mid week too, as that's what he targetsI will give further feedback in a couple of weeks after it's had the opportunity to workI will be bathing my puppy in it too as it is so gentle and gives such a good result, although she's not itchyGreat product if it stops the scratching will be recommending it to others

Have been using this for years on various dogs with itchy skin issues , not just my own dogs but as a professional dog groomer on owners' dogs too although I should say that in this case each dog needs to have a bar kept separately for it's use only .. It has worked successfully almost always . It is expensive and needs to be left to dry out between uses to prolong it's life but I've found the bathing the dog every 2-4 weeks as a treatment course seems to work and the skin issue often goes away without a recurrence Often one bar will do the trick but may need to be used longer ..Doesn't need an added wash in conditioner . this shampoo is amazing we are using it along side the spray. our cavvie has always hated bath time, but with this, is gets a good lather up, smells amazing but it doesn't take much to wash all the soap suds out which makes a big difference as its much quicker to get her bathed so she really doesn't mind it as much.think it will last a while.she has cushings which has resulted in calcium cutinosis and alopecia. she looks beautiful after being bathed with this soap and she always smells lovely. its so gentle and its not overpowering scent unlike the spray. its not an awful smell, its quite pleasant actually.she has not itched once since using this (and the spray) where before she rubbed her back everywhere, along the sofas, under the dining chairs, the lot!seriously its a great soap bar and excellent for the money - deffo give it 5*

Although this is meant for itchy dogs, my dog still has a little itch when it is used, but he is not as bad with this as with other products. I love the smell and it makes my Westie smell beautiful (smells like Verbena). Not sure what the ingredients are, but he seems to like it and so do I.

I have used this product for well over 2 years I have a rescue dog who has many issues plus allergies particularly itchy ones. I find that bathing him with this soap eases off the itching for him and makes for a happier pooch. I love the lather you get with this product and also it lasts so very much longer than the conventional bottle shampoos. His coat after a bath is amazing so shiny and fluffy and the smell is a lovely clean fresh one which I prefer to perfume ones. I bathe him twice a week in the height of summer when his allergy is at its worst and although it does not cure the problem it most certainly helps to ease it.

The packaging had changed, its now in a plastic packet but on the upside there are fabulous instructions with it, but no hessian bag which I found very useful to store it in between uses.The bar is easy to use, smells cleans but no overpowering smell.Leaves the coat soft and clean.

this is a great product, incredibly soft on the skin, however, my pup still stank after a wash with this, so maybe I'd recommend doing a wash with a normal shampoo first and then use this bar

Time to write a review after giving Petnat Dermacton bar proper testing.Our Chocolate Labrador Lexi developed heat spots and scratched herself raw in several places, the vets were next to useless and just wanted to milk us for loads of blood tests and skin tests which is the norm for them.Lexi goes for Hydrotherapy every week, the Hydrotherapist at Bluewaters Canine Centre Kidderminster suggested Petnat. We duly bought this extortionately priced bar of "soap" and the hydrotherapist has been shampooing Lexi with it every week after her swimming session. In fairness, it lasts ages and she is only on her 3rd bar after over 18 months. Lexi has had absolutely no problems with her skin since using Petnat. This stuff works so bite the bullet an buy some , you will not regret it and neither will you much love pooch.
