Despite what the negative reviewers say, I'm not fake, I'm a real boy!I put an aftermarket Pioneer head unit in my Land Rover Defender, happy with the fact it had FM/AM, Bluetooth, and Aux inputs with a CD/MP3 capability. Didn't need the DAB even though it came with it.For some reason yesterday I thought about it and decided to check out something like this on the recommendation of a Defender enthusiast website. I couldn't find the one that was recommended, however, having found this one, I decided to take a punt on it as it was less than £11 and with a free Prime trial, delivered same day for free. All round winning.I went out to fit it this morning, I had it connected within 5 minutes, the unit scanned for DAB stations which was encouraging, and then started playing pretty much crystal clear DAB stations, with a good selection to choose from - even more impressive that the car was still in the garage... FM and AM stations were spotty, but again, still in the garage, and that's no worse than it was before.I would suggest if you suffer from lower reception (on DAB or FM/AM) after fitting this, take it back out, make sure all the connectors are pushed home firmly, and test it with the unit still out of the slot.I want to test this out driving the Landy and see what the reception is like when mobile, if it stays the same, then my 5-star rating will remain, if not, I'll adjust, but right now, impressed with ease of install and value for money!(Still not a fake...)

Works flawlessly in Fiat Doblo with Kenwood DMX5020DABS. Will need to have and re-use the standard aerial adapter for the Kenwood or purchase one. Strong DAB signal with lots of channels detected.... Very few drops outs on the move ... FM still works as previously.

I bought this to use on a new DAB+ system in my wife's classic car, as I thought it would be better than installing a stick on DAB ariel & I'm glad I bought this.The installation was really easy, as it was as simple as, connect the original automatic ariel to the the adapter, then connect the adapter to the stereo, so less than 2 minutes to fit. As soon as I started searching for the DAB station's I got a lot more stations than I do in my 2 year old car, so I was really surprised, but very happy.The only slight issue I had was the lack of space behind the single din stereo.......I say this as the adapter doesn't have much flexibility, but to be fair there is not much room for the new unit & all the wiring (it's an old sports car). But once I managed to get it all in place the new stereo worked great, & this adapter has saved me the hassle of fitting a separate DAB ariel to use alongside the original Ariel in the car.So if you have a car with a non DAB ariel installed & your charging to a DAB stereo, this could be the thing to save you time hassle & money, so I would advise you try this adapter.This is Absolutely brilliant & an easy 10/10 from me.

This was ideal to reduce wires in the cabin in my car. I connected it up and instantly lost signal. I then tested immediately with my FM aerial connector and signal was restored.Unfortunately, this means the product is no good for me as it does not work so I am returning.

I bought a Pioneer Dab+ car stereo and needed this to be able to get the DAB signal. Without it I just got FM and No DAB stations. After a quick 5 minutes I had all the DAB stations I could want however the 20 year old aerial still needed replacing as there were dead spots while driving. I put a 9" Dab aerial on and the dead spots disappeared!

Sceptical at first but as long as your standard FM car aerial is powered, by that I mean on some vehicles the antenna / aerial on the vehicle requires voltage to switch on the aerial / antenna. This voltage is supplied by the original radio through the centre pin of the aerial. As my Honda Civic FM aerial was powered as standard, I used this adapter so both the FM and DAB sockets connected to my powered aerial. I'm guessing this power was enough to make the DAB+ work. It did and picked up everything. Only issue I noticed was volume was a lot lower on DAB compared to FM but can live with that. I was also guess this would not work using your standard aerial if it is not powered.I really didn't want that awful looking DAB aerial on the front windscreen, it also mean less work, no removing a pillar covers and routing another cable to the head unit.Very pleased with this cheap fix.AMENDMENT: Spoke too soon, I test after installing and without driving around. Whilst driving around, reception kept going in and out. So I've decided to go for the amplified version. Will try this and see how it goes. Remember, my experience is only on a Honda Civic 8th Gen.

Même avec l'antenne d'origine de mon auto je capte la DAB+ (avec le câblage antenne d'origine).La différence entre le DAB et le réseau hertzien est de l'ordre de celle entre les cassettes audio (...) et les CD...En mettant en plus une antenne amplifiée, c'est Broadway !Je recommande vivement.

Ne ho presi due modelli, vanno bene entrambi! Ovviamente si perde un po’ di ricezione dab, ma a quel punto bisogna installare un antenna vera e propria.

Der Splitter macht genau was er soll und funktioniert im Mercedes W124 mit einfacher Stabantenne einwandfrei.genau genommen bin ich sogar total überrascht, wie sehr gut der Empfang ist!Hinweis vielleicht auch für andere Nutzer: der Empfang wurde erst dann wirklich gut, als ich am Radio die Phantomspannung auf die Antennenleitung EINgeschaltet habe. Vorher war tatsächlich fast kein Empfang auf UKW und DAB+.Glasklare Empfehlung für diesen Splitter!

Im Grunde das beste was man mache kann beim nachrüsten.Das beste ist das Ding funktioniert am besten mit dem Stück Draht.
