Q: Does the device shut off automatically after some time? we need to stay powered and run for hours while being monitored via the usb cable

The auto shutdown function of HP Force Gauge can be canceled. You can set it to always turn on, just set the default off time to 0.

Q: Is the Calibration certificate provided traceable to NIST?

There is no calibration that is tracible with the pack. I am sending mine in to get it calibrated to 17025 to an external lab

Q: Does the free software run on a Mac computer?

Our software is suitable for Windows system and cannot be used for Apple system.
