Great platters and they add a touch of restaurant dining to a special night. I bought three in total.I put ours on the largest hob at about 3 or 4 power for a good ten minutes or the oven and then a tiny bit of oil, but too much will smoke, ok if your extractor fan is better than ours!I cook chunks of marinaded chicken on skewers in the grill with onions and peppers until nearly done and then slide them into the sizzle platters for 5 or 6 minutes and serve on the wooden plate provided. The peppers and onion char and take on a smokey flavour as does any meat you put on them. They can be put in an oven to heat also and just add the meat at the end. I do not cook on these, i only serve already cooked meats and veg which continues to char,smoke and sizzle appetisingly but the hot iron plate remains very hot for a good while.One will hold enough veg and meat for two average people or one hungry person. Useful on the Barbie for keeping warm and serving.

Look it isn't the best quality but for the price it does what it says on the tin!! The sizzler itself is pretty good, I've used it a few times but the wood base is cheap, however its basically a glorified mat so really doesn't matter.

I made miso braised duck breasts with this and I was absolutely shocked that this performed as good as it did for the price I paid.Very good one, it does rust superficially, but it's normal considering its cast iron. I fixed it with a bit of olive oil and some love.The plate heats up as it should, reaches the temperature that it should, and cooks the food evenly. I couldn't be happier!

not to complain but i purchase 2 of these's and will be ordering another 2 so i have full set but one was dinted and rusty the other one was top quality like other have said both the wooden platters were half and half smooth but you dont notice

Great little cast iron pans to jazz up breakfast from the BBQ. Sold and well made and comes with the cash iron handle/fork thing to move from grill serving board.Made Chorizo eggs on them and surprisingly very none stick.

I bought these for my daughter and her partner as a present and they are delighted with them, they were not expensive compared with some on the market but every bit as good. They keep the food hot from the beginning of the meal to the end and look so fashionable as almost all the restaurants are using them these days. They were delivered within the time stated and would recommend them and the service to anyone.

The media could not be loaded. Followed the instructions to the letter. Has gone rusty after 1 use. Sending back.
