I purchased a few of these as gifts at Christmas, so far everyone I purchased for loves them, has had no problems with them and look great in their kitchens. I already own a pair of these, a slightly older model, but they are fantastic. The light in the bottom allows you to see how much salt or pepper you are putting on your plate. The only downside to these is you need 6 batteries for each mill, but with normal everyday use, the batteries will last more than a year. I cant remember when I last changed the batteries in mine and they are still going strong. Would definitely recommend whether it be for yourself or as a gift.

Look and feel great, the only down side is the pepper mill doesn't grind very well, even after adjusting, but is ok.

As said for my table

We were looking for a present for one of our friends, and as they had seen our salt and pepper pots decided to purchase a similar set for them. They are easy to fill and assemble, and having a LED this shows you precisely where to condiments are going, especially useful for dim candle-lit dinners. In our case using Duracell alkaline batteries the life has been excellent, largely because of the intermittent nature of the utilisation. Very pleased.

Not the easiest to use, batteries die quickly and need a lot of them for replacement

Please don’t waste your money- bought a pair of these, neither grinds salt. Either nothing comes out, or whole crystals, depending on adjustment.

This pair of grinders replaced a pepper grinder of the same make which wore out after a VERY long life of heavy use.The build quality is good (as expected)They are significantly easier to fill than their predecessor and just as efficient at doing the job of grinding peppercorns.They are sold as a pair with the presumption that they will be "Salt and Pepper" but of course can be used for either. We chose to have two pepper grinders which means that it is easier to find One!The astonishing thing is that the pair were sold for a price MUCH lower than other grinders were asking for a single unit.If you want a battery powered salt or pepper grinder DONT HESITATE - BUY THESE.

These look and work fine, but can’t believe how little product they accommodate (only a part that can be seen through the transparent bit can be filled with salt/pepper) AND they run on 6 batteries each! 😳
