Some of there just like slip mistakes
This is definitely a helpful little book to study synonyms and antonyms however we came across quite a few mistakes. Some of there just like slip mistakes, eg the synonym of a word in the answer page is displayed as the same word. In other places we found it unclear logically (one of them was "woman" - synonyms are female, lady, girl. The answer says it should be lady, but why not female.)On the positive side, ignoring the errors, we like the size of a book, it stands out of all the other 11+ books which we have loads. This book is small enough to go with us everywhere. We can open and work on any page, any random exercise. The book is good for looking at the finished exercises over and over again to drill in the words. It is like the printouts that private tutors give you. However I bought it as one of the books to tutor my child myself. So it is a good help for us. Thank you, Author! Mum and a child preparing for Slough consortium exam.

Great for 11 plus preparation
If your child is doing the 11+ they will need to know a lot of synonyms and antonyms. We found this book really useful for learning and practising these. We only bought it about 5 or 6 weeks before the exam but wish I'd started using it in Year 5. Very useful.
