It saying its 29 inches high. Is it really that high

Yes the sides of the frame measure 29" high (so from the floor to the top of the side rails).

Maybe a dumb question but is the twin bed long enough for a 6ft adult without the trundle being pulled out?

It says it is 80" L. 6f is 72". I would think a 6ft adult would fit. If you really stretched your toes it might be close though.

What is the weight limit for each bed?

I believe the detailed description indicates 300#. Which is one of the main reasons I chose this bed. Assembled correctly it is very sturdy!
