Smiths Snaps Spicy Tomato Snacks, 21g (Pack of 30)

I have been looking for these for ages and I’m so glad I found them on here, they were quite cheap for a box of 30 bags, the bags aren’t little tiny ones you usually get they were actually like grab bag size, they have a long shelf life and were delivered without damages or broken bags. I forgot how yummy they taste too so I’m happy!

I've been craving Smith's Spicy Tomato Snaps for a few weeks, but unfortunately our local shops haven't had any.Seeing as i enjoy them so much, i decided it would be a good idea to order a full box online.After looking at a few listings, i chose to order direct from Amazon (instead of a third party seller) as i assumed i would be less likely to encounter any problems and would receive an item with a longer shelf life. I placed the order on 19th March '24, delivery arrived today (21st), but they have a surprisingly short "use by" date, just 72 days.These packs are dated 01/06/24, which is only 10 weeks away. I had considered ordering 4 boxes (i do try to reduce my carbon footprint by ordering larger quantities and fewer deliveries). With the shorter than expected date, I'm glad that i only ordered a single box at this time.The product itself, is just a tasty and enjoyable as the first pack i ever had during my childhood around 40 years ago. A flavor and texture that never disappoints and doesn't seem to have changed at all (unlike the majority of other childhood snack favourites that are now "new improved" poor imitations of once great items).I'll definitely be buying more in the future - probably after 01/06/24 which will hopefully guarantee getting a longer date.

My husband often mentioned he loved snaps as a kid so when I spotted these I decided to surprise him for his birthday. Did he expect a huge box of crisps as a gift? No he did not, but I can tell you one thing. He loved them!The bonus of buying a box is all the crisps were fresh, there were no squashed packets meaning they were all tasty and bonus they had a huge shelf life on them due to the generous sell by date.He got to relive his childhood and I got wife points! Win win!I would say they are great value for money (as price per pack they really are) but he enjoyed them so much I have had to buy multiple boxes 😭
