used on inside of shower glass. so far so good
Applied this to the inside of my shower glass to make it easier to clean. Plastic cleans much easier than glass. 3 weeks in: it's stayed on perfectly and is crystal clear. I love the result.*** Update after 3 months: all air bubbles worked themselves out. Film is laid down smooth and still perfectly adhered. I LOVE this.***The new glass has the more expensive lifetime warranty coating that's supposed to prevent soap scum build-up and etching from hard water, but after just a couple months, the shower glass was showing white residue from dried water drops that required lots of elbow grease to scrub out. Problem was that the lifetime warranty on the glass is voided if you use anything other than their recommended cleaning procedure of dishwashing liquid + microfiber cloths + their propriety blue diamond glass product. Expecting someone to squeegee the entire shower glass after every shower is ridiculous, and paying someone else to regularly clean is quite expensive. My whole intention with getting that more expensive glass (which turned out to be a marketing gimmick since build-up was still happening 2 months in) was to make the shower as maintenance-free as possible, but the glass manufacturer's prescribed cleaning procedure meant an entire production: setting up dishwashing liquid in a spray bottle, a load of microfibers, scrub hard - as hard as microfibers can to get the frosty/filmy build up off the bottom of the glass, apply the blue diamond thing, microfiber again, and then after all that, wash the load of microfibers, and dry them, and fold them. Obviously having an entire production to clean the glass means it won't get done very often which made the build-up worse. So, i covered the glass with this plastic to see if it would work. Goal is to skip all the delicate cleaning for the glass and just be able to wipe the shower doors with lysol wipes or whatever I'm cleaning with.It was tricky to apply - time intensive and had to be done carefully. We screwed up a bit and some parts tore, especially when cutting around the door hinges, but the adhesive on the plastic + the water squeegee method stuck even the torn bits down solid. There are definitely air bubbles, but they're pretty hard to see so I'm quite happy with it the end result. You don't really see the screwed up parts unless you knew they're there. After we did the glass, I also stuck some film over the hinges and brackets since they all have these exposed screw heads that get wet constantly and I'm concerned over time those parts will get water damaged. so the film now covers those screws too and that puts my mind at ease. It's crystal clear, and it's been on, with daily hot showers, for 3 weeks now. Adhesion is good. it's not peeling off. Steam isn't affecting it, and the best part: a quick lysol wipe is all it takes to clean the glass - so it happens more often. Plastic cleans easier than glass, ie there's no scrubbing - soap scum etc wipes right off. I don't know why they dont just make shower doors out of plastic (environmental impact aside, there are still some things that really should be made out of plastic. If they did, I would've been able to easily clean the first set of shower doors I had rather than getting all new ones because the old glass was permanently etched to the point that it looked frosty.)If needed, I can always change the film after a year or so, and the glass underneath will still be perfect. And yes, I realize I might be a little ocd about clean in the bathroom. Who covers their shower doors in plastic? I promise my couch and dining table are NOT covered in plastic. lol. But I also hate cleaning, so anything that makes cleaning easier and faster, I'm for (as long as it isn't obtrusive to look at - and this film is perfectly clear).

Great for reducing convection drafts
We have an old home with several single-pane windows. Applying this product cut down the temperature transfer. Takes patience installing.

Nice quality - SO DIFFICULT to install...
This film is a great quality/thickness for this price - and when you can get it on well, it looks great... almost disappears. However, the process and time it takes to put it on glass without bubbles, dust, etc. is near impossible - not something I want to do again.I got this to put on the inside of some glass doors for a cabinet that stores my designer bags, to protect them from UV rays/fading. It took almost 4 hours to do 6 small doors - and even then I’d give the best of them a B+... most of them are more of a “C.” I spent a LONG time trying to clean the glass before applying, a LONG time cutting the film, and a LONG time spraying, laying, and sticking on the film… only to get a “decent” result, which is frustrating. I used clean microfiber and compressed air and STILL couldn’t get all of the dust off the glass… Overall, great quality and fine if the windows you’re doing are not ones you see close-up daily, but if you’re a perfectionist… good luck!

Might have worked - but came folded in half with a crease
Ordered to go onto a storm door to prevent heating up the door/inside the house by blocking the sun. Unfortunately, the product was folded in half and had a crease from shipping. We thought maybe perhaps it would come out once installed. NOPE! Rendered it useless for us since it was no longer transparent due to the crease (as in, you can see the lines on the door). Also, make sure the area you are working in is spotlessly clean. Any sort of dog hair, dirt, etc becomes a magnet. Then if you try and scrape it off, you leave fingerprints/smudge marks. Granted, some of that is expected given the nature of the material and what you are trying to do. However, that did not factor into my low star rating...it was all due to shipping - being damaged and then not usable for what we needed. The manufacturer needs to ensure shipping issues are addressed.

Used for Fish tank - worked pretty good
We used this for a fish tank at our work office. There was a lot of algae buildup along the window-facing side of the fish tank, so we decided to try this for the glass wall. It was a little difficult to put on, to get all of the bubbles out and keep it from sticking to itself, but we also had the tank up against a wall filled (big tank), so we had little room to work with (our own fault). I think if we put it on in an open area, it would have been much easier. It has been about 4 weeks since we installed the cover, and with the help of pleco sucker fish, we do not have algae on the wall anymore.

Exactly what I was hoping for!
We used this to protect our back door from dog scratches and it works GREAT. My install wasn’t perfect but over about a week most of the bubbles worked themselves out which was amazing! It’s very clear, and has held up well on the outside of a sliding glass door (exposed to the elements and the scratching dog) for a couple of months now!

Very hard to put on without bubbles
Hopefully this will make a window safer in case of breakage. But it was hard to put on smoothly, we ended up with lots of little bubbles leaving the window looking opaque instead of clear. I bought the squeegee to and it didn't help at all. An old credit card worked better.
