These coats are really useful and really help keeping your dog cool in doors and outdoors BUT the sizing seems very inconsistent: I bought a small size for my Westie and it was short (I had to sew elastics to the straps to be able to close it). This is my second coat, bought a M for a Fox Terrier and it’s way too big and nit easily adjustable.This item needs a detail size chart to guide the purchase.

Seems to work well, my dense coated dog likes it too. Shame it seems to look filthy just in getting it wet. Doesn't last more than an hour or so without drying out in this heat. Beware that it seems to be for the barrel shaped dogs. It's not quite long enough, but way to big round for my Nizinny. A bit of nip and tucking has fixed this so that it doesn't swing round on her.

Size small fits my 6 month old french bulldog perfectly. It arrived quite quickly. I love that it comes in yellow, my favourite colour. When it's dry its light and easily folded. When wet it is heavier and it feels like chamois leather and cool to the touch but moisture does not come off it noticeably. Really useful product for summer since my frenchie goes everywhere with me and he's prone to overheating so sometimes he would sit in the shade when we are outdoors when I like to sit in the sun. Also would probably be quite useful to let your dog wear in the car if you need to go shopping quickly. It even has a little hole so you can slip a lead through it if your dog wears a harness.

As you can see Fern is cool and comfortable on the hottest of days. The fabric is rather like a synthetic chamois leather and stays damp for hours. As the fabric dries, it is easy to re dampen it.

I cannot praise this item enough. After the Summer we had last year this item is an absolute must for any dog owner. I brought 2, 1 for each of my dogs and used them for car journeys and walks and they really do work. If you go on long walks they are so easy to keep cool by simply taking a bottle of water along and keeping the coats damp. Unfortunately one of my dogs did give chase to a Deer and it didn't fare well through the shrubbery, thorns etc but I will definitely be replacing it this year as both of mine are breeds that are prone to Heat Stroke and this coat means they can still enjoy a walk without the worry.

This is great for my black Labrador. Stays cool for the whole walk, which can be up to 2 hours, not tested for longer. Keeps my dog so much more comfortable and cool. Reflects the sun off her black coat also helping. My tip is to fold into 4 when still wet and leave in the sun today.

Today 22 C and I can feel the heat in the house. I bought this for the days like this. I soaked it and squeeze the water out and put it on to my girl, she seems comfy and must like it because she settled in straight away.Only issue is that I order M according to the size guide, but it’s waaay tooo big.It’s more like blanket than a coat. I ordered second one S size hope that would fit better.
