excellent value for the price my only concern the diameter of the feed pipes could be larger, as I live in a hard water area calcium build up will clog them up.the pump is adequate would recommend the system. I give it a 4 star rating

Excellent
This is a really good bit of kit. I'm new to hydro and thought I'd try one of these as they look like there really easy to use and this particular one fits my tent perfectly. I've been using it for one month now and my second round of plants are doing excellent. I say second because my first batch of seedlings died because of me. I allowed them to dry up by mistake because my humidity was way too low even if I put the timer on to flood every hour. The timer is on constant for the second round of plants and they are some of the healthiest I've had. There are a couple issues with the system. Firstly is emptying it. If you have a pump then it's not a problem however it can be a bit tricky accessing the hole in the top. My plants are covering it up already. You obviously get a pump with the kit but again, it's difficult to get to when your system is in full swing. For me it's only a minor issue though and I'm happy with it. The second issuer is that the pots are very close together. If your looking to grow large plants this probably isn't the system for you. They do however have several other shapes and sizes to suit every need. This again isn't a problem for me because I like to grow many short plants rather than a few larger ones simply because for me it quicker, cheaper and easier to maintain. Overall this system is easy to use and maintain, it's very efficient with nutrient and my plants love it. I normally grow organic but thought I'd give this ago and if at the end of harvest the results are to my liking then I may get another one.I only went and got another one! Went for a 4 pot instead this time. Amazing results at harvest and I really didn't have it dialed in as I would have liked because it was my first run. Can't recommend these enough

Well designed and works great.
The reservoir volume is listed as 85 litres which is its total volume and not its operating volume which from experience only needs to be around 50 litres for your 10 plants. Make sure you change the hydroponics solution ever 7 to 14 days, this is because the nutrient demands of your plants change during this timescale. The pump is near silent and powerful running from the mains (UK). Mine is in a garden cold frame where it can get to well over 35c in the summer and being in a hard water area means weekly descaling of the blue feeder-ends is essential due to calcification. If you don't descale the blue feeders throughput more than halves each week during the summer.Summary; well designed, easy to maintain and had great results with it.
